It won't if Pep says on Friday all our business is doneDeadline day should be fun
Some real smacked arses on here lately.
There are still 6 days of the window left and we can't force a club to sell us a player if they don't want to.
Lets see where we are this time next week before we start slagging of the team who have built the current squad, won more trophies than I ever thought I would see and allowed me to see some of the best football I have ever seen.
Not doing too shabby, are they? The Sheik has little involvement, other than initial investment. The people the Sheik has appointed do.
No I said Mendes deserves the credit for the Dias deal and offloading Otamendi and that the other transfers was half a decade ago.So what you're saying is it's the agents that deserve the credit for bringing these players to City and not our transfers team?
This. Lots of toys being chucked out. Club were trying to buy the England captain without him putting in a formal transfer request from a club who didn’t want to sell to an English club. I imagine it isn’t like buying a Ford Fiesta. Didn’t happen, move on. My only twitchy feeling is the whispers that we put players on the market and I just hope it was only the players who want a move. But then again I know FA.Some real smacked arses on here lately.

Can't agree, we reinforced the one part of the squad that was already strong with the signing of Grealish, but no way I'd this squad stronger than last year. LB is still a problem, fernandinho is another year older and obviously we have no recognised senior striker. Not flapping but to say we are stronger is BS.
Messi wanted to play with his mates at paris , he knew what we have offered and turned us down yet againSo we turned down Messi on a free to not sign a finisher at all this window? Christ on a bike.
Best not sell Bernie & Laporte now.
The three “unhappy players” were competing each other for man of the match on Saturday.Grealish is a very good signing and will add a different dimension. However, not signing a 9 (which they identified as the main need) and not moving on unhappy players is a bit of a bust
We had close to the best ever season by any club ever, all without a striker. We have now added a world class midfielder to that squad, and we have one of the best young strikers in Europe banging on the door.Struggling to see the correlation between what I wrote and your answer?
We literally don’t have a striker in the squad..
Erm, how about £100m on one player, someone with the skill and confidence to disrupt our own squad in a good way. How’s that not an improvement?Yet khaldoon stated yet again in his summer interview that he has learned that you have to strengthen when you are at the top etc? And we would continue to disrupt and compete for the worlds best?! Pep also stated at the end of last season that squads need refreshed regularly or it becomes stale yet here we are again by the sounds of it with no lessons learned? Bernardo Silva will still be begging to leave so can we not at least get nuno Mendes in? At least fill one of the problem positions?
