It’s a no from me.
He’s an ageing yet still great player but him in a City shirt? It just wouldn’t seem right and IMO having everything set up to service him, which is what he expects, would goose the team dynamic.

Agreed. I read it as sarcastic but I unironically agreed with it.

Guardiola then added: “I've never complained since I arrived day one, I will not do it now, but of course the club has an obligation, the duty to look forward, to get better, to feel we can still be there with a tough Premier League and this is what we are going to do.”

This from peps last presser tells me if Ronaldo is available and the numbers stack up then he won’t turn it down ! He’s not stupid he knows with no striker and with the rest of top 4 strengthening we will struggle to be there in all 4 trophies at the end of the season ! Hes a serial winner if the season was to go tits up its him who gets questioned and gets called a fraud etc

yes we can make do with what we’ve got but if we want to be the best we need to buy the best and give pep a goal scorer .

It’s criminal to go into the new season with no striker when we’ve got so much creativity to supply one with kev foden grealish mahrez Etc

Even saying the club has an obligation and look forward and get better is telling? When he signed his new contract he would have been promised big signings, a refresh etc and it looks like it’s not happening?

its not criminal... jusy disappointing.
 
I'd take him but more than happy to go with what we have, Still convinced it will be enough to see us lift the title again too, comfortably.
 
So, we’ve spent £60mill on Grealish or there abouts after player sales, not to mention getting rid of Sergio’s wages.

We’re f***ing loaded still.

Get Ronaldo on a short-term contract and pay have an attractive wage. He‘ll come.

Then we’re done for this season.

And this is exactly why Pep wanted Kane IMHO.. his personal agenda is possibly different than the club’s and the fan’s i.e. he wants to win big ears before he leaves but maybe the club and fans want a world class striker that we can build a team around.. Immensely frustrating as Pep had the perfect opportunity to lift the trophy last season and, not for the first time, fucked it up with his unnecessary tinkering
