General transfer rumours

Chelsea have won the premier league twice in the last 7 years. How do you measure success and over what period.
I was using the last 4-5 years, going back 7 years seems a bit far.

I measure success as sustained trophies, finals and so forth. On the "business" side we have sold over 400m worth of players under Pep and its not come at much impact to the first team, that is good business imo.

Chelsea sold the likes of Hazard etc and its impacted them.

Probably more to do with their transfer embargo than that. Offloading Hazard for as much as they got was actually incredibly good business considering his form and injury record since. Barcelona have learnt the hard way the perils of holding on to star players too long and giving them huge contracts.

They have been unlucky in their signings in left-back and striker in recent years. But after splashing the cash in both areas look to have sorted out that issue.

Anyone know what’s going on with Yangel Herrera? For sure thought we’d get 15-20 mill for him this window

"Man City are willing to let Patrick Roberts leave for free with a percentage of any future fee. Interested clubs: Blackburn, Bournemouth, Swansea, Stoke, St Etienne, Troyes, FC Koln, Hamburg, Arminia Bielefeld, Greuther Furth, and one club in Portugal."

what the fuck, why not ask at least 5m or 1m at the very least?

Nobody will pay a fee for him. A sell on percentage is the best we can hope for and was probably agreed when we bizarrely extended his contract

Seems like Chelsea aren't willing to meet Sevilla's asking price for the CB. Guess we aren't the only ones to not like overpaying.

Daniel James from rags close to join Leeds, really will be interesting what Leeds will pay for him.

Poor guy, seemed to have everything going for him. Football can be cruel
