The Conservative Party

You sound like one of them thar anti capitalists ha ha ha - it remains my sovereign right as a freeborn Englishman to buy £100 of stuff and use YOUR card to pay for it lol
What i sound like is unimportant, the Government is supporting a system that is not optional that does cost and those that do not want it will still have to pay for it, that is right taxation through the back door on your own money. Government supported PPI

I can not find the right thread but, Boris is putting up the swipe card limit to £100 now i know all the little lord fauntleroy`s will love it but, no safe guards have been put in place, my card automatically changed as did everyone else`s, getting it changed back was awkward which resulted in it changing to pinless again. sound pathetic does it not, i should just go with the times. I am happy those that want pinless have the option. Cash is now safer than card mainly because of pinless accounts and the £100`s of millions in fraudulent usage, we all pay for these crimes and that is where the Government who is pushing this scheme should protect us, those that want pinless should pay for their own cost whether that be in interest rates or charges. the Government should safeguard us against these banking scams.

You must be delusional if you think that this Government (or any Tory Government ) believes its job is to protect us

I know your right, I just can not believe that this is being allowed to go through without any challenge to it`s legality, we are all going to incur cost whether we want it or not. even the reasoning for it being raised the first time was just a big bullshit of a lie.

Rabb is going to be sacked and blamed for Afghanistan.

Boris replacing him with Gove so he can go raving around the world and not undermining him at home.

Foreign Sec is getting a shoeing in parliamentary committee right now.

Why is their defence of anything that is questioned "world class or world leading " when it clearly isn't

Pandering to wokery - Dowden, as well as being a grown up is supposed to be a Govt Minister yet has to resort to playground style name calling to make his point - maybe he understands only too well how dumb that audience is

So the elderly care crisis gets fixed by making only younger people pay more (rather than rich pensioners paying more tax).
Of course the poor must pay after all it is them that will need it. Can’t expect the rich to pay for it can you? Why do you think it has taken so long? If it was benefiting the rich it would have been sorted years ago.

This is a party more than a decade into its reign that has doubled the national debt (pre-pandemic); given a vast increase in homelessness; the lowest state pension in Europe; the collapse of social care; soaring violence on our streets; the highest death toll in Europe, despite being an island; broken promises on housebuilding; 29m views of its leader's lies; cash for lobbying; unlawfully awarded contracts; peerages for donations and now the debacle of Afghanistan and empty supermarket shelves. When will the nation wake up?

The fragmented nature of this dis-united Kingdom and the first past the post system, means that two thirds of the country could wake up and it wouldn't make the slightest difference.

When the parliamentary lines were redrawn it made it more difficult for Labour or the Liberals to gain seats in the house.
The conservatives promised us Brexit and now we see there true colours, pension’s and social care will be hammered but the electorate don’t want to pay for it. Its easier to increase tax on the rich messing with the old and the sick is wrong
There is, allegedly, £21 trillion held offshore in the British territories and one in four major UK companies paying zero tax. If tackled, there would be no need for Joe Public to be leeched from once more. Until everyone pays their fair share, we are not in this together; social care should be a right, it is not something that should depend on your wealth.
