Could you imagine the disharmony in City’s dressing room with this guy earning more than the likes of De Bruyne, Gundo, Walker and co for someone who would only be a bit part player? The rags regret giving stupid contracts to the likes of Sanchez and De Gea, if they want dabbing Paul to sign on the dotted line he will probably want what Ronaldo is getting. Imagine your whole transfer policy is knee jerk offer more than City offer. They don’t seem to realise the joke of a football club they have become.
They never learn, do they?

The more I think about it the more I'm convinced that the rags have become an urban myth.

They are a fable a kind of national folklore.

One in which the broadcasting media, written press and most of the footballing fraternity have completely been seduced by.

There is paradigm of belief, fantasy and superstition that enshrines the whole club.
Every institution from the sponsors, FA, PL through to the media and TV outlets have convinced themselves that their own survival is incumbent upon keeping the rags relevant.

It's time for a paradigm shift me thinks.
Great post mate, they are in the same mythical realm as some bloke called Dave who broke his leg in the cup final.

Anything happened since zebra pants and his merry band ov entitled muppets broke into the swamp. Sat thinking bout the shit the scum get away with did anything ever happen when the Taliban put a bomb in the toilets you know giving em a 24hr delay while seeing how our result went f.....g scum

Tom kerridge (?) Big utd fan from Bristol or Somewhere down there, on Soccer Am, said it'll be nice to see a fairytale return of a player that came through the ranks who made a name for himself at utd, went away to Real Madrid and its a triumph for football over money!

What the actual fuck?

These utd fans are fuckin clueless clowns who sit there and spout shite and expect everyone to believe what they say.

It's no wonder no-one likes them.

Ollie in wonderland watching Fergie ordering his sycophants to 'paint the roses red'...

But the problem is,that for one, know one ever pulls them up or corrects them on what they have said, then the rag masses or neutrals will believe it as gospel..

It's all so raggishly-Hollywood, so excessive and grandiose, and yet somewhat it's also cheap and gaudy, just downright tacky.
They're paying an absolutely breathtaking amount of money for a man who is approaching middle-age simply because of who he is, not what he can do for them on the pitch, where it matters.
He is a flamboyant showman who will delight the lemmings with his flicks and step-overs, of that there's no doubt.
He will have the Asian day trippers gasping in astonishment when he performs an an intricate 'sleight of the foot' for no reason whatsoever, and they'll give him a standing ovation when he delicately flips the ball from one cloven hoof to the other, but they will ignore the fact that while he is doing these overly-impressive tricks he is doing absolutely nothing to help his team with the task in hand.

As I say it's pure Hollywood, the smell of the greasepaint and all that. Trumpet fanfares and marching bands accompanying his every move, like hordes of peasants lining the paths of Rome as the all-conquering warrior Caesar returns from the battlefield, triumphantly waving a bloodied excalibur above his head.

'Nauseating' is an insufficient adjective with which to describe that club.
I've just been reading about one Teddy Sheringham.
He finished playing for the rags at 35 and he was known as 'the veteran striker...'
Make of that what you will.
