Correct.

Stretching the fact.

Boetang's career at City lasted 22 games.

Boetang's career at Bayern lasted 10 years. He played 229 games.

Leeky has a valid point.

F*cking outrages Journalisam.

Either of the 3 Daily United journalits who contributed to the updated article will get away with it, so will the Daily United, because as you rightly pointed out, it is a fact Boetang played for City 22 times.
I completely agree that it’s typical underhand journalism, but you can’t ‘have a word’ as it’s 100% a fact that he’s a former City player, regardless of how many times he played for us. The press will be the press & push their own agenda on anything they write about anything, which is why I don’t bother with any of them

Whilst we're briefly on the subject of Sir Piss Can.

I can't decide who I loath the most, Ferguson or Gill?(you Rag b@stard!)

Gill just about shades it for trying to destroy City from with-in the red shirts, and from with-in UEFA.(Gill is UEFA's treasurer)

A nice warm feeling to know that the conversation will be about just how Fcking brilliant “likkle citeh” are & how they’ve pissed on every dirty trick they’ve tried. Last 10 years Gill & the piss can have been made to look like Dastardly & Mutley.

Granada reports interviewing 2 guys in ‘Society’ bar about Manchester being voted 3rd best City in the world… The guy from Society mentions, Pankhurst, Turing etc…. Then says “ you can watch World class football… or watch Manchester United”. Well said that man.
It was the guy from Manchester’s finest on Facebook.

Fair enough Maly.

True.

I wish I had your resolve. :-)

Just like you I don't bother with the football media bar News Now City, which is usually a quick scroll through.

Unfortunately the Daily United and their continual anti-City narrative, and their continual pro-United narrative has got to me.
I should ignore it as it will never change, but in highlighting it I feel I'm fighting a (losing) battle on behalf of City. Hence why I love it when Samuel sticks up for City. I can't understand why he would work for that Rag fanzine.

Ferguson, Gill and Woodward are all still board members at United as far as I can recall, so it’s not really that noteworthy.
Why is the story printed in the mail? Collusion is not an allusion.

BBC's sport section journalists still playing with their private parts over Ronaldo's return. One of the 4 articles has this headline -

Why is Manchester United v Newcastle not on UK TV?

Scandalous journalism from the Fail. They know exactly what they're doing. Why we let them set foot into our ground is incredible. They treat us like shit, walk all over us yet we wine and dine them on match day. I’m sure it’s more complicated than we understand but at the core it feels like the club has a weak under belly when it comes to the press.

The Daily United Fanzine have updated their earlier Boateng article on their online main news front page.

Manchester City highlighted on 'blue' in the small print. No mention of Bayern Munich in the updated article.

I'd presume that the highlighted bit in blue is because it's a link to all Man City articles, not just to draw the eye. There's no point in having a link if you're going to hide it, if that's not illegal to start wit (it would be dodgy at the very best).

I've not checked myself as I'm not as obsessed as some on here ;)

I think it's been said but they're not going to list him as a former Munich player for a story published in the UK.

I hope Ronaldo’s game is the dampest squib since the opening of a pork pie shop in Saudi Arabia.

Since we’re not allowed to wish injury on someone however abhorrent they are, the best I can hope for is a dour 1-0 to Newcastle, with Ronaldo sent off near the end having failed to muster a shot.
If he scores, it'll be replayed for ever like Rooney's shinner or Ricky Villa's 1981 goal.

Brace yourselfs for the Ronaldo media w@nkfest to reach a climax this weekend when he makes an appearance at Trafford.
SSN more bothered reporting on that rather than the anger of pundits and fans at India fucking off home to play in the IPL.
