The rag wanker who commentates on our games for Radio Mcr told an absurd and probably apocryphal little tale of seeing fans outside the ground wearing Vardy / Grealish half and half scarves …. “Below Vardy’s name it said £1” …. we all knew where the pathetic bore was going with his story but on to the bitter end he went sounding really pleased with himself as he splurted out the words “hundred million”.

Fred Eyre should headbutt him.

Was dropping off daughter at Uni in Derby today so had radio Leicester commentary on while they went shopping. That is how local radio commentary should be - totally biased. Yet we have that Mike Minay on radio Manc, the bloke who seems to cheer when we concede. Are there really no blues employed at Radio Manc ?.
 
Only 12 consecutive Ronaldo articles on the Daily United (Mail) website. City have 2 articles, split apart, but you have to keep on scrolling and scrolling to get to them.

BBCR7 - Mediacity devoted 30 minutes, half of MOTD, to Ronaldo and United. City go 7 minutes.

I think they are getting what they paid for in media attention.
 
Manchester City described as Abu Dhabi backed in the Guardian's commentary on the Champions League. On a positive note, Manchester City comments are far down on what they used to be.
A lot of City fans have obviously ended their association with the Guardian Media Group because to comment is to fund their 'journalism'.
 
You wonder what the general consensus would have been had we signed Ronaldo. Would there be as much coverage as there is now. How would it have been portrayed? Mega Rich Oil Club City steal Uniteds favourite boy by handing him £7million per week.

I make the point not that we need him or even want him just the total buzz United and Liverpool get is fucking embarrassing. You can feel the annoyance when we win a cup or league either on Sly or in a paper. It’s like it’s not how the world works and change should never happen. Even with England you can feel the way pundits etc speak about players who change allegiances from one club to us. Grealish, Sterling, Walker we’re all angels before moving to us.
