Next Manager after Pep

Are there any fans that would like him to go? I would not mind if my manager left due to being completely out of touch with the difficulties of a person with less than ten thousand per year attending while he is on tens of millions per year.

Luis Enrique, for what it's worth.

For all his flaws, and I was personally very vocal about those comments after the Leipzig game. We have the best manager in the world for another 2 years, let's enjoy the ride and put these conversations to bed until Spring 2023.

Put it another way.... If you are having heart surgery do you want the best cardiothoracic surgeon, or someone that came to work on a bus?

Definitely wrong there but if you wish to give your backing to some jumped up fan called Parker and help in rhe Process of pep walking away then carry on with your whiny soundbites. You sound like a Liverpool fan victim always the victim
Not really, but I'm also not going to give my uncritical backing to someone who comments show a very limited knowledge of the history of this club. He needs to focus on whats happening on the pitch and leave off field matter to people employed to do that job, i.e marketing.

I would hope that if I was having heart surgery that the bus would turn up. I wouldn't want the Bentley driving highly paid surgeon seeing his arse when I didn't turn up.

I might be very ill, relying on public transport but not having the surgeons ego at the top of my priorities is just not on.

Next manager can't come fast enough for me if he doesn't shut his fucking mouth about the fans.

According to U.K. law the man going to work on a bus is a reasonable man. Quite frankly, if Pep cannot see this, he is being inappropriate. I'd recommend he donates 10% of his wages to City fans. And by the way, if he made the tickets a fiver, you'd all turn up, and so would I. I don't care if my surgeon is a billionaire as long as he doesn't slander and neglect my attendance record. Then I want him in court.

He should have fulfilled his alleged ambition of coaching United if he wanted a ‘big club’ circus with hundreds of thousands of superficial tourist fans to pad out the stadium every week. But that was actually a difficult job post-Ferguson, so he took the easy option here instead, and has regularly belittled the club. Our attendances have actually been very good, especially considering we share a city with one of the three biggest clubs in the world, even before the Abu Dhabi reboot.

The reality is this club has done more for Pep Guardiola and his legacy than he has for us; 2/5 titles before him, 3/5 with him while acquiring a depth of quality that his predecessors never had. As long as the owners are in place, our next manager will win titles as well; who knows, they might even be able to deliver European success too.

Mancini didn’t need to dress like a ticket tout or sing Oasis songs in a nauseating attempt to endear himself to the fans, he just fought for us and the club on the touchline and in the media. Hopefully our next one will do the same.

I wouldn’t want him to go, because periodic Porto style cock ups apart, he is a brilliant coach and manager. I also think that both Pep and Kevin Parker have been spun by the media. But, he does not need to understand that the small club, no history, fans don’t come comments don’t play well and make him look totally out of touch with struggling working people, post pandemic, facing 3 home games in a week. The football bubble is a very insulated and unreal environment.

Has anyone mentioned Patrick Viera yet? A bit under the radar
I know, and it's probably new manager bounce at Palace, but he has got them organised and hard to beat.
A good club for Patrick to gain experience with.
I always felt that he was being trained up to follow Pep.
City plan long term.
Could he be the man?
Got to nbe considered.

Just a handful of dafties like you who think him not getting us (wrong) is a valid reason to part ways.
Just reading that back is actually ludicrous. Supporters would happily let the best manager in the world go because of something they have interpreted really really badly.
