We’ll see…I will be tempted to go all out attacking instead of midfield control. we are anyway going to leak goals so why not make it a high scoring game? Put sterling and foden on wings and KDB and Jack in mid and any attacker on the striker position
Very true but we could be 9 points adrift of Chelski, the rags and dippers come the international break. If so we would need to go on a run to make sure the gap is manageable come December. Should we lose the next two games the margin for error is practically non existent.If we get anything from this game, I predict we'll win the league. A bit too early in the season for the next 3 games with injuries and players coming back. And if we lose, we just need to stay within 5 or 6 points by the turn of the year to mount a real assault on the title (again).

Obviously playing on a Sunday is out of the question. Now Friday nights is another option when available but the broadcasters don't like scheduling big games at this time. I was talking about this season specifically. The game against Arsenal was not a 3pm kickoff FYI. After Saturdays game, City will have played 3 big 6 teams and 2 of those will have been early kickoffs. I've not looked that far ahead, for the other games, I just find it surprising and wondered if there was a reason for it. At least they weren't both home game though.
I think De Bruyne started out as the false-9 in that game. Instead he shoehorned Sterling in for extra attacking movement to try and open up Chelsea and score early

this is embarrassingly defeatist attitude. just because we have one players short means they are superior lol.Probably won't be able to handle it. I think our best chance, only chance perhaps, is to try to outscore them and that won't be easily achieved. We could I suppose set up more defensively with a makeshift back 3 including Ferno with Gundog 9if fit) in front of it and a selection of the attacking midfielders we have further forward. In a sense matching their likely formation. I think we will need a lot a luck together with an off day for the Rent Boys for this not to end badly.

I admit I am not too optimistic but there are good grounds for this view. We actually appear to have a number of players likely to miss out on Saturday and perhaps the following big games. We have an abundance of attacking midfielders and wingers and perhaps we should just have a go and see what happens. The alternative is to go defensive and not likely to be chosen by the manager given his football DNA. Even with everybody fit and available this would be a big task. 5ATB with the injuries. Jesus seems odd but I think he could do a job on someone like Reese James who can hurt us with his pace down the right side.
