The Conservative Party

I believe ban jani is still present on the forum having adopted the alter ego of a Roman Emperor.
Not sure about blue insa.
He used to drive HGVs so I suspect he’s returned to his former career once he realised his shipments of materials from Europe that he was selling on the internet was costing twice as much and only arriving occasionally.

I wish I knew what ‘levelling up’ actually meant. How will we know if we have been ‘levelled up’?

Boston has been given £25m and it is to be spent on a walkway From the railway station (which nobody uses) into town. Our town has many, many empty shops (a quick count last week - we had 12 empty shops in 75m along Strait Bargate) and yet this new ‘walkway’ will include a row of shops. Yet our A & E is the same size it was 20 years ago and they have closed the A & E at Grantham, Skegness and Spalding added to which there has been a huge increase in the population over the last 20 years. So what will this £25m do for us?

When Beswick secondary has a polo pitch and droylsden has people shooting foxes and not each other then we have made it. Maybe a sailing club in Cheetham hill as well.

The Cheetham Hill Regatta has a nice ring to it old bean.

The Droylsden Hunt is very picturesque, as it includes Daisy Nook in it's itinerary.
The riders are encouraged to shout "Ey Up" instead of "Tally Ho" when the fox is spotted, as a concession to the local citizens lining the route.

Do they still put barbed wire up to keep the fog out in Droylsden

Visas won’t solve the problem as Government ministers blame the RHA for the problem!! Petrol stations never run out of fuel normally so why did those few stations run out in the first place if it wasn’t for the shortage of drivers?? Remember, unlike a normal HGV driver you don’t just need a driving licence, you need a special ‘extra’ licence to drive a fuel tanker and you can’t just dish them out. Or can you?

Brexit eh!

Christmas is coming and the only people getting fat will be the fat cats.

Shapps again saying firms need long-term planning to replace foreign workers. Given the current UK birthrate, he must be talking about 20 years of shortages.

Never mind dig/drive for Britain. Or even pluck for Britain. It's f...

Maybe should help some of the jobless retrain that would help or even cut benefits so people would work , maybe a grace period of day 3 months to find work

The best way to get people to work for you is to make the job pay more or make the job better or a combination of both.

Actually scrub that the best way for companies is get in cheap Labour and treat the workforce like shit with the threat of a queue waiting to take your place.

Flog em, break em, discard em. It’s the capitalist way.
