Link him to City and they will, for twice the fee and 3 times the wages.Akinfenwa may be the biggest footballer in Britain… perhaps the rags should sign him
You mean they've everything crossed that he does, Salford Media need sorting out what a biased bunch of cunts they have ther
Personally I think Micah is on a wind up with that comment. Nice one Micah. Once a Blue, always a Blue.Richards should be fucking ashamed coming out with bullshit like that. They’re not even the biggest club in Greater Manchester anymore.
Tries too hard to show his impartiality and only ends up with ever more trolls calling him a biased blue.Micah must be taking the piss.
No he's not. He's trying to be liked by everyone which is impossible. He needs to give it a rest and say it how it is. The biggest club argument is for children on Twitter and is completely irrelevant.Personally I think Micah is on a wind up with that comment. Nice one Micah. Once a Blue, always a Blue.
It was Taylor who made the Americans (in particular) sit up and take notice. Whatever you're in about, that's the fact of the matter. One of the reasons that women's boxing got the go-ahead in the Olympics was because the standard achieved by women boxers (and Katie Taylor in particular - she was actually specifically mentioned in the report to the OCI) was deemed too high to ignore.
Her skill level is therefore undoubted. She has earned the right to be compared with anyone.
She actually changed the sport of boxing and the way people, expert and non-expert alike, view it.
Very few athletes can say that.
Now, if you didn't like the Sugar Ray comparison you won't like this one but there you go, sport is all about opinions:
In fact, by opening it up to half of the world's population, she has probably had the greatest impact on the sport of boxing since Ali... if not greater.
Part of me thinks that Micah could be on the wind up with that comment. He’s basically implying that the self titled biggest club in world has spent over a billion quid and is still miles behind City in winning trophies.Personally I think Micah is on a wind up with that comment. Nice one Micah. Once a Blue, always a Blue.
Don't wanna be bigger just betterThing is I'm not arsed if they are, so fuckin what they're still shit at football.

Article about Jack Grealish having to move flats in the the Sun, apparently he cost 115 million.
Though he does try to be too likeable most of the time I really do think he sees through this bullshit and is adding to the myth. All this biggest in the world crap just adds pressure to them as all the biased clowns in the media blow smoke up their arse based on this clear fallacy. It totally works against them eventually and maybe he's see's that. He also regularly calls fairly good players from these teams world class as well but whenever he talks about City I see a real glint in his eye that tells me he loves City just as much as us. I'd rather have him than yet another ex red shirt who played for the club for a year and acts as if he spent his entire career there.Micah ….. “Manchester Utd are the biggest club in the world”
Thing is I'm not arsed if they are, so fuckin what they're still shit at football.

Government referred it to the competitions committee who banned the proposed takeover - though United fans tried to claim it as a victory for their ordinary supporters winning against the might of Murdoch's empire. Deluded lot and remain so to this day. Sky's bias for United (and Liverpool) stems from knowing the value of their fan base across the globe and keeping them all onboard with positive spin as often as possible - regardless of trophies won.Back in the nineties Sky wanted to buy the rags I was very much in favour as I thought it could lead to the ruination of both. Think the FA stepped in to stop it but they still have an unhealthily close relationship.
I want to win but I also don't want City to be playing in front of small crowds.IMHO a pre-requisite to being the "biggest football club in the world" is to at least be able to win the domestic league on a reasonably regular basis. That hasn't happened to that lot for quite some time. Keep selling shirts in Singapore & Beijing etc and City will keep picking up the trophies.
I don't give a shit if we're not the biggest in the world. Who cares anyway ?
Surely editorial policy dictates the way forward for media?Micah needs to stop sucking up to them, comes across as a right yes man does Micah
Kids don't read newspapers or go for their news from online news outletsI want to win but I also don't want City to be playing in front of small crowds.
We are one of the best supported clubs in England but a fanbase is built over generations not over 5-10 years. We also get the most corrosive coverage in the media and that has to have an effect. it has a good effect, and a bad effect.
Every now and again there are students who come on here with surveys about whether you buy a shirt etc but there's probably room for some research into the how foreign ownership has impacted on football, and particularly the relationship between owners, media and fans. Manchester City fans are a social experiment. Vilified as simpletons by simpletons. You are X, and you must think like this.
