The rotation at left back is the most important one for me. Either Aké or Wilson-Esbrand have to start, we cannot play Cancelo again right before an all important tie vs dippers

Name-wise yes , theres no reaching Messi,Neymar and Mbappe. Playing-wise Messi , Neymar and Mbappe have been pretty unimpressive this season. They failed to score against Fc Brugge ffs. As the season progresses they will probably get better and start to link better up front , but right now they dont seem to be the threat everyone makes them up to be.

Mane is not as his best anymore. Firminho is nowhere near impressive. You stop Salah and Jota from scoring chances are you'll walk away with a win/draw.
I rate Real Madrid in top 5 before Pool. Pool is probably 6th best team in the world right now , and quite frankly they dont seem as good as us, chelsea , bayern or psg.

So that's Liverpool winning on Sunday with a clean sheet and a hat trick each from Mane and Firmino :(
 
There is a lack of intensity tonight which will serve Paris better than us. Not expecting a win, certainly after our physical efforts on Saturday.

A win for us would say to me that Pep has the team in a very good place indeed right now, certainly with one eye already on Sunday's game.

Not hating on the lad mate, but with him on we conceded 3 from leipzig. Now I know his mind was elsewhere , but I wouldnt fancy our chances in a Neymar/Messi/Mbappe vs Ake situation. If we are to rotate Id rather we use him vs Liverpool
 
We tend not to see Pep utilise all his subs early in a game, particularly one still in the balance as we saw against Chelsea - so I’m not sure the 5 subs allowance will be that beneficial in terms of being able to rest players for Sunday.

I expect 4/5 changes from Saturday and Pep putting his trust in the starting XI to deliver - should be a great game and we have more than enough to beat them once again.
 
Next two games are standout but make no mistake Liverpool will be the harder of the two.

Liverpool also have to travel to Porto tonight so that’s no gimme either.

Pep will go as strong as he can in both as will Liverpool.

For all people go on about the strength of the PSG squad ours is probably better…

Bruges got a draw against PSG and it was no fluke xG was 0.76 to 0.42 in favour of Bruges..

Right now PSG are playing to the standard of United and are less than the sum of their parts.

Hopefully Pep will field the strongest team as there is plenty rest time before the dippers

What do you mean by lack of intensity tonight…don’t we have to kick off first!? I’m expecting to avoid defeat as I’m not impressed with PSG one bit so far.

This.

Games are not being played on paper but on the pitch. We are favourites due to the fact that not so long ago we beat them. Twice. And we were the better side in 3 if the 4 halves over these two legs.

There isn’t much between both teams. Nor both squads either. So you can win or lose but either way it’s not gonna decide anything.

Let’s enjoy these big games. Far better than travelling to some place in Eastern Europe to listen to stupid monkey sound making farts.
