I will take a point but this is going to be difficult. Liverpool will be up for this. Going off game v PSG I’m not sure who pep will play. We have a few tired players for me Kev, Bernie, Grealish all look done in. We can’t rely on raz or Mahrez for this game

Really surprised they ripped Porto apart so much, they were extremely physical last year against us and we couldnt beat them away from home in the group stage, that was our only game we didnt win until the final in like 12 games.

This PSG game took more out of our payers that the Porto game from their players and apart from Mahrez/Sterling we played our best 11. So ideally Jesus/Foden will come in somewhat bit fresher.

I would take a draw, after beating Chelsea thats a good result. but its totally a 3 way game, can be anything. They will sit back the least imo compared to what Chelsea, PSG offered against us.

All depends if Klippety want to take us on , he will not want to leave his team too open , we wll dominate as usual and they will hope for a defensive error or the referee to win them the game, if we play like we did agaisnt Cheslski & PSG we will be OK.

Foden and jesus out wide is crucial, their work rate is essential to combat their fullbacks and they both have the ability to cause them massive problems going the other way. Grealish doesn't work hard enough to track TAA and that will be a huge problem for us. Bench for the big games until he can put the same shift in as the rest. Perhaps he could be an option in the false 9 but hasn't been here long enough to start playing in an unfamiliar position in this kind of game for me.

Mahrez upfront as the false 9 who can alternate with Jesus. this is the hardest choice because we currently have nobody. sterling and torres have been ineffective there and will be like playing with 10, mahrez has the touch and close control to play there and get involved and his ability to go both way from a central position could be useful. Gundogan missing is a big loss as him in the middle with kdb further forward would have been the obvious choice.

Expect the first 15 minutes of manic, inhaler, press in both halfs. If City survive that the Dippers will settle down to their long cross field passing. It’s not hard to work them out.
