Sunak putting up more of our taxes to look after his mates in the next budget if his speech today is anything to go by.

Some pearlers in today's speech ( and on GMB) from the man who brought us his dishes (spread the covid about) and whose name is an anagram of hi risk anus.
- I want Britain to be the most exciting place ON THE PLANET!
- you might not realise it but the future is already here!
- throwing LITERALLY the kitchen sink at the current supply problems.
More seriously he praised the economic record of the previous eleven years of Tory Government whereas I thought that was now disowned by this populist UKIP lite closed economy administration.
He also stated that it was irresponsible to borrow to make welfare payments. This is an interesting point because it was apparently not irresponsible for the boy George Osborne to borrow to fund cuts in corporation tax and taxes for the wealthy ( one of the reasons borrowing in the previous Tory administrations rose from 0.9tn to 1.8tn pre covid whereas Osborne's big plan was to cut borrowing to approx 1.3 tn ).
It's a funny old world!

Proud of the tories last ten yrs looking after public finances , what a **** , he doesnt give a shit about the poorest working or not , lost respect for him totally
kaz - you mean you had some respect for him to start with?
Also as I mentioned previously it's strange for him to praise the previous Tory governments of the last eleven years as the current UKIP lot have largely disowned it!

Always in it for himself. He had his signature added to all his announcements when he was dishing the money out, a la Trump. That's disappeared now he's after it back, and more... I never got the love in people seemed to have for him..
