Liverpool (A) Post Match Thread

What. A. Game.

It's always tough at Anfield against 12 and VAR, and the behaviour of your fans.

I fail to see how anyone can not see Milner should have got a second yellow. They is no excuse non unless the game is bent. Funny klopp wasnt the only person not to see it, the ref and VAR didnt see it.

That ref was a bent ****.
My dad was furious watching the game.
He don’t even support us , he hated so Liverpool much , thought he was gonna kick the tv in when Milner never got carded.

Couple of pearlers from the match day forum when we were losing:

So we’ve played away to:
Spurs
Leicester
Chelsea
Liverpool
…already and got two wins and a draw from those games. The only away games to teams seventh and above left are Rags and West Ham. Given the fixtures we’ve had to be 3rd is very impressive.

Back 8 pretty much pick themselves. It's the front 3 where the problems lie.

Best player for the left is Foden.

For me the only player who can play centre forward and score goals is Torres.

That leaves the right hand side. Currently Jesus deserves the spot.

Not sure what has happened to Mahrez. Last year he was an automatic pick.

Wishful thinking on their part, how do we know that the chances created today for example would have happened if a recognised striker was playing?

Yeah, that’s a good point. I’ve often wondered if we were able to dominate games as much as we do at the minute if we had say Haaland up top. Pep is very good at adapting his tactics to suit players though, so I’ve got no doubt we’d be a better team with one. Makes me puke even typing this but if we had Salah we’d be unbeatable. A winger who knows where the net is so valuable.
