I don't really care for Newcastle, their fans were vocal against our owners but now will love middle eastern owners!

How do people see this effecting us? They'll probably outbid us for players but will players want to go there at first?

I think it will be similar to how we bought players 10 years ago: spend more money than others, so players will come there because of the new vision, new future, etc. And then their net spend will be top of the league within a few years (if they really have ambitions, and money, of courses).
Anyway, I think it's good for competitive, more infrastructure, more money invested in football, and it... actually has nothing to do with just. So we just mind our own business, while it's good for them, and for PL, too, I think.

Pleased for all the decent Newcastle fans I have had the pleasure of meeting but not the deluded ignorant ones who have had a pop at us. Id rather it was Sunderland who were being taken over though. Nevertheless it will be great to battle with the Geordies for honours and even better to see them take away another place from the corrupt cabal of 5 clubs. Bring it on.

The truth is all the pops and jibes at us are pretty much fans that wished they had our success. It's fuelled by jealousy and we're seeing a fanbase that probably criticised us suddenly change its tune now they have richer owners.

We are currently the team sat on the perch, and breaking into the top four, let alone winning the league, is even harder now than it was a decade ago. Spurs, Arsenal and Leicester will be the teams watching their back in the short term, and then Liverpool post-Klopp after that.
