we should deliberately kick at them
Atwell I think with Moss on Var.Who was the ref there last year when they tried to kill us, and got away with it?
I assume you're not joking, but after his disgraceful "performance" at Liverpool, Tierney should not be anywhere near our games !!
Friend probably not the worst, but tierney will be a **** on var as you sayAtwell I think with Moss on Var.
Tierney is a cheat, should be no where near our games esp after the Dippers farce. Just sums up Riley given us him yet again but if the club does nothing then we just have to accept it
Im off to lump a tenner on Brighton and another City Red Card.Official: Kevin Friend will referee Brighton vs #ManCity next Saturday, with Paul Tierney on VAR.

We had a Tierney at school, he was a twat too.Surely should have read :- " Tierney should never referee a game ever again - the bent **** "
Typical clueless continental ref.I've missed the first half, was ref a twat or a TWAT?
Best one has to be the linesman giving the corner at the end. You could see in the replay that he wasn’t even watching! Still no idea who overruled him because the referee was in no position to decide.Typical clueless continental ref.
Half the time, they look panicked that they have to make a decision after getting caught out staring at the flags on the top of the stands to see which way the wind is blowing.
They don’t know the game at all. They fall for dives but don’t pick up serious fouls, they don’t know where to stand or where to run, they are often miles away from the play and then sprint over to make it look like they’re on top of things.
And it’s not just against us, de Bruyne should have been sent off in Paris, poor one that was missed… the ref tonight missed about six or seven bookings yet booked Laporte for not touching his opponent.
The Euro refs are utterly inept.
Got a call in is earpiece, who says the game isn’t run from the sideline.Best one has to be the linesman giving the corner at the end. You could see in the replay that he wasn’t even watching! Still no idea who overruled him because the referee was in no position to decide.
Precisely. It was the correct call but arrived at incorrectly, which should be a matter of concern.Got a call in is earpiece, who says the game isn’t run from the sideline.
Because the game is bent. About the only thing got that Keown said tonight that was sensible was that he had never seen that before and it was via the ref‘s earpiece that the right decision was made. Why aren’t the media all over this as well as the club. Corruption before your very eyes swept underneath the carpet. Pretty sure it goes on at PL level as well. This match shows it is, or certainly can be, corrupted to try and get the outcome you want. Someone in the match day thread commented after about 20 minutes that the ref was being told what decisions to give. The poster assumed it was via the ear piece. This was confirmed when they over ruled the corner.
VAR cannot intervene for that kind of decision so why is 'someone' telling the ref what to award ?
Oh it definitely goes on in the PLBecause the game is bent. Cheers mate, Thanx for that.Typical clueless continental ref.

Heard him a few times now and he reports what he sees rather than having any preconceived agenda.I thought the BT commentator was pretty good tonight. Not heard of him before and it didn’t let being hampered by that clueless lune Keown affect him
