Not a very poor side, a below average side, but with today them missing half of their starters they were a very poor side correct. Championship level for the 2nd half but there is good in this.

More games for the rags mean more chances of poor coaching and man management. Wouldn’t want them to entirely miss out on their perpetual Europa league run.

Scraping late wins at home to Europa league standard teams in the group stages of the CL is going to be the highlight of their season

Looking at Liverpool’s fixtures and form, we could do with a draw on Sunday. A win for united would be too much to stomach

Back in the day watching them win a game like that was soul crushing cos we were nowhere near Europe or in a relegation battle or in Div 2 …. Now it still sickens you briefly but the bigger picture soon kicks in and you realise that we’re comfortably in front of them in every department and we have been for ten years and we probably will be for the next ten years.

There’s a great equilibrium about United these days. Whenever you worry that they may sack Solskjaer, they win. Whenever you worry that they may have turned a corner, they lose. Forever stuck in a state of limbo. Long may it continue.

Ole did it all himself and the fact he was able to bring on 3 players that cost over £160 million combined and probably earn nearly a million a week between them, has no relevance.

In all honesty they where at their level against a depleted 6th in Italian league team. They snuck it not undeserved as they showed determination, but truth was it could have gone either way.

They are so far behind us, Liverpool or Chelsea that they will be 4th at best and I can see that being a battle.

As for CL any decent team could do an absolute number on them and I’m not talking the big names, the teams like Ajax etc will likely have too much.

It’s going to be a very stop-start season for them as every game is close and when you consider the financial advantage they have over pretty much all bar a few teams, it is a huge failing!

Do hope they win on Sunday, I have so little worry about them but Liverpool are impressive. I fully expect to be disappointed (although I won’t really, cause I do hate them)

Imho, it'll be a draw on Sunday, which will be absolutely perfect - provided we do the business at high flying Brighton.
