That seems a lot better and just looks like an expanded champions league.
I wouldn't be overly opposed to that depending on how they worked out who qualified.
I would think if it worked out like that, the clubs would do a premier league season ticket and European season ticket.

Don't think it works without the guaranteed qualification for the clubs who were pushing for this - they needed the guaranteed income

To be honest the whole Super League idea could actually be turned into something interesting, Champions League seems to be dropping in quality lately.
You have groups like:
Sevilla, Lille, Salzburg , Wolfsburg
united, Atalanta , Villareal , Young Boys

These groups you'd expect to see in Europa League not Champions League.

Then again Liverpool , Milan , Porto and Atletico have to battle it for 2 spots.

Makes no sense, so what if Lille won the French League last season ? They can't afford to stay at the top level and invest money in the team, they can't go near the top teams in Europe and challenge them. So what if Villareal won the Europa League last season ? They're no competition for the big European teams out there ..

Because they earned it on the pitch. Not in the history books.
Merit trumps entitlement every time

Ffs! Seriously, the fuckiest of fucks saken...

The wankers have gone away and come back with some bullshit changes that are purely designed to make the venture seem more pallettable for fans.

The same entitled shitstain teams will have their places ring-fenced, without a shadow of doubt.

Remember Brexit? Remember what was promised? You see what you got?

This is Fexit.... a fucking carve up of our sport if it proceeds, with cheers and claps along the way by spectator lemmings.

Nobody should care what the superficial headlines look like. That is just a PR exercise to get fans on board. Especially with their ECJ court case coming up and UEFA now supported by the Spanish government.

What is the governance structure? Who can make changes after it is implemented?

Nobody should trust this, or the intentions behind it, at all.

There's so much to dislike about this post.

But I'm off to bed.
