Next Manager after Pep

Bayern went with Anchelotti after Pep.. it failed spectacularly. Players complained vehemently that they were not being pushed hard enough in training. They had to bring back Jupp Heynckes a fourth time to right the ship again. So no you're better off going with someone like Enrique after Pep. The intensity can go from a 10 to a 7 or 8, but if you go below a 5 the whole enterprise falls apart completely.

Think he won the league in his first season then sacked season after

He did. Bayern does not sack a coach just because some players are unlucky - it has to show on the pitch. But there already were big doubts about it in the first season. They chose Ancelotti because he was a big name and because of his former success - but that he did not have the playing ideas that the former coaches followed. And he preferred the players he could easily communicate with - usually the spanish speakers.

Amazing what an unexpected away win does to your job prospects.

Maybe that's why Barca have approached Little Olie last night?
I've been taking notice of him since he managed our eds but also followed him when he went to nycfc.

On that performance, Viera. I thought that was our aim anyway, which is why we gave him the New York job?
Although I didn't see the game against palace I heard that they played more defensively, that isn't normally how viera sets up his teams they play attractive attacking football. Viera would do well here.

Heard today from a random source so may not be true but seems a bit random not to be.
Rodgers is house hunting in Bowden.
I think the suggestion was that he was being lined up for the rags but could be planning ahead for a job with us.

Just please not Rodgers!! He is so average it's not even funny.
Also , Id stay away from Ten Hag until he proves himself elsewhere besides Ajax.
Potter and Viera are good options to consider but lets see where they will be by the time Pep leaves us. We will see then what they have achieved.
Luis Enrique by far the best option for me.

Got a couple more years before Pep goes, so I doubt any firm decision has been made on his successor. A lot can happen in that time.

Ten Haag needs to prove himself yet Potter and Viera are good options? Think they both have a lot to prove particularly Viera.
My choices would be Enrique,or Ten Haag. Rodgers would be behind those 2 but I’m not entirely against the idea.

If you read my comment again you will see that I mentioned that they have to prove themselvs as well "we'll see where they are by the time Pep leaves"
So far im more convinced of Potter as he is doing good in the PL. Ten Hag is preforming well in a farmers league. He did reach the CL semis but had an exceptional generation with De Jong, De ligt so on, and they bottle it in the semis against Spurs of all teams. They did a spursy against spurs themselvs.

I rate Rodgers personally. The big plus point with him would be his track record of bringing through young players. We have some serious talent in the academy and I would love the next manager to be someone who makes their development a priority. Let’s face it no one we bring in can match the profile or pulling power of Pep, so we may need to tweak our strategy going forward with more emphasis on using our own.
