Media summed up is this, after all the flak they gave Newcastle as nothing said about this and this has been going since around 2007 but not a peep of outrage frm anyone:

Their deal with state owned Saudi Telecom is the ‘longest running of all our commercial partners’ this Manchester United official statement says below in 2017. That comment made as Man Utd launched another revenue stream from the Saudi regime, ‘the General Sports Authority of Saudi Arabia’ in partnership with Manchester United.

It's not incompetence.

It's deliberate, well rehearsed and designed to give Joe public and anyone affiliated with the rags or dippers the impression MCFC are irrelevant.

It's the exact opposite to how they report on the media darlings. They (broadcast media) think it's good for businesses and for the premier league if they ignore us and can somehow make City look insignificant.
