The guy was unproven at any level. He was way out of his depth. Anyone could see that. Ability to motivate ? No. Tactical nous ? No evidence of that. Ability to build a squad and a system of playing ? None of that either.
Massive spending. Square pegs in round holes. Egos running amok ahead of a team ethos.
I go back a long way and this era reminds me of the end of Busby's reign and the McGuiness/O'Farrell/Docherty/Sexton/Atkinson period.

Have you not seen Rashford? He's far more lazy than Ronaldo.

Pocketing would improve many of them but he'd also have to replace a few and to do that he'd have to tackle the mass delusion about their abilities head on.
 
Unbelievable how much the media paint these cnuts as some sort of bastion of football,we should all be in mourning and praying that they can bring in a manager who can get them back to their rightful place back at the top of the premier league and European football,lets Not forget before baconface they were just a club who won the odd cup now and again and flirted with the thought of winning the league.How many titles had they won by the time he arrived ,the media myth of them and the red scousers being big two rivals fighting it out for titles every season is absolute bollocks as well,they are now what they were before baconface arrived just a fucking club who think and act that they are still the biggest club in England what a load of absolute bollocks ..

The truth has finally dropped after 2 years of ridiculous Penalties and other ludicrous decisions to not give out Red Cards etc that have kept them in the mix both sides of the Lockdowns etc under the Ole Regime. They would never have made the Champions League had the “Officials” not paved their way. “Project Re-Start” was in particular a shameful example of PGMOL making certain the Scum finished in the top 4 when at the break there was absolutely no chance of it. Sheffield United in particular were consistently shafted to take them out of contention and they and Billy Wilder the manager haven’t recovered from it yet.
