Solskjaer's appointment was a total disaster. Neville can dress it up all he wants and try and paint some positives to his tenure. There weren't any - except for opposition fans.
The guy was unproven at any level. He was way out of his depth. Anyone could see that. Ability to motivate ? No. Tactical nous ? No evidence of that. Ability to build a squad and a system of playing ? None of that either.
Massive spending. Square pegs in round holes. Egos running amok ahead of a team ethos.
I go back a long way and this era reminds me of the end of Busby's reign and the McGuiness/O'Farrell/Docherty/Sexton/Atkinson period.
Long may it continue !

Not shitting it but its a big inconvenience. The players looked like they had downed tools yesterday. They might start running the extra yard now, be a bit more physical etc.
I'd be amazed if you don't do them by whatever score you fancy, similar to us against them however, it's a big plus in the sky blue halls if they actually get anything at the Bridge.

To all the loyal and committed rag supporters I would just like to say that "it's the hope that kills"........................................ hopefully

and for all the years of jibes, bullying and piss taking from every plastic and pathetic **** at school ...........................................fuck you !!!

Enjoy your days of crisis and failure - you thoroughly deserve them.

I agree. Our recent piss-taking of United reminded me of a game at Maine Road in 73 or 74 when Marsh made them look stupid, again and again.

But arguably, they are in a worse case. They went down, but Docherty was able to build a new team quite quickly and bring them back up for buttons. They are now burdened with numerous players on vast contracts that no one else will buy and it is going to cost them squillions to rebuild, even assuming they employ someone with a better scouting concept than 'See who City are linked with and offer them stupid money to come to us instead.'

The problem the rags have is that they always want the quick fix, no long term strategy just buy players that bring value to a brand and hope against all hope to cobble a team out of them.

They have a fanbase that slaughters them on social media, the club has no identity or backbone it really is just a circus coming to town.

On the bright side, we can stop hoping for the odd win to keep him around now, all out failure, starting with bowing out into the europa league would be a great mark of respect. Players will be shitting themselves as they can't hide behind Oles incompetence now for how expensively shit they are.

I am getting somewhat pissed off at the repeated media references to yesterdays "embarrassing defeat at Watford" - Watford played them off the park and were brilliant plus no reference to slab heads international c lass stupidity - as its Watford it seems they don't matter
Correct. It’s insulting to Watford. They played them off the park.

So am I understanding this right, it’s carrick until they find an interim until the end of the seaon then they will look for a new manager, unless the interim wins a few games ? Sounds a good plan :)

Carrick is like the shitiest supply teacher ever, we should get behind him with everything we have got.
