Erling Haaland

He could also resign for a couple more years and kill this clause dead. He seems happy in Dortmund.

I’d say the chances of this are slim to none.

He’s Raiola’s next cash cow, so Mino will want to maximise his earning potential as quick as possible - he can earn a lot more, a lot more quickly by leaving Dortmund.

Plus - the player will want to start adding some trophies to his CV to position himself as one of the best of his generation. There’s no way he’s hanging about watching Bayern mop up in that Mickey Mouse league when he could be actually winning the titles for himself.

Dortmund are a stepping stone - they embrace it as a key principle of their business model, and it’s what makes ambitious agents take their players there to get noticed. There’s no way he’s staying there.

I agree. The discussion was on the chances of him moving in january. Which, regardless of when the release clause kicks in, are slim. Slimmer if it kicks in in the summer, obviously, as then Dortmund are in the equation too

Agreed - clause or none, I’d be amazed if he goes anywhere in January.

This has got summer circus written all over it!

Bags the Europa on his way out.. :)

You’re assuming he isn’t already decided on where he wants to go.

Barca, PSG, Bayern are most likely out the question for money / league / league reasons respectively. It’s PL or Spain.

Rags are rags, fucking circus. Liverpool won’t spend, Chelsea have Lukaku.

It’s us or Madrid. I’d assume he’s already made his mind up between the two, assuming both are even in for him.

The Haaland camp might want to wait until summer, but that’ll be for footballing reasons, not financial.

Madrid have got Mbappe written all over them imo.

Would a manager even want Mbappe and Haaland in the same starting 11? Looks good on paper of course, but in today's footballing landscape, workers are just as Important as flair players.
