I'm going with a hard fought 2-1 win today against a very much improved side who are well drilled. come on blues!

I know I'll probably get told off by mods but can someone help me out with getting the game on a fire stick? I'm crap at stuff like this. thanks in advance!

Missing this game, as we’ve taken the kids to Center Parcs for my daughter’s birthday. Assumed the game would be on TV, but just found out I’ll have to stream it and the Wi-Fi is rubbish here. Fuming.
Just have to use your data mate - hope there is plenty of 3/4G signal for you though - I’ve been caught out with that in the past if it’s somewhere a bit remote

Pep will use the squad over the next 3 games, the players who started vs PSG won't have energy to play in all of them.

Think Laporte, Zinchenko and Jesus are bound to start vs WHam, hopefully Foden is ready as well. Maybe one from Rodri and Bernardo will be rested, same with one from Walker and Cancelo. We should be careful not to run in the ground Rodri and Bernardo, they have been fantastic so far. Can see Palmer getting another start.

So, Pep will probably take some risks today. Villa away won't be an easier game, and we will need fresh players for the next two games.

Agree, reckon there will be a few changes today and then on Wednesday. Wouldn't be at all surprised to see Zin, Fern, Jesus, and Palmer all starting today, possibly Ake even. You never know with Pep

I’d like to see McAtee and Delap on the bench at least if not the pitch, in the next fortnight

Agree regarding putting our chances away , the Dippers scoring shed loads of goals and losing only one game will probably after tomorrow leave them still in third place , watched their Southampton game and they are giving up a lot of chances to the opposition and the better teams will punish them.
Ourselves and Chelski give very little away and the best defences generally win the title , but would love to see us be more free scoring like previous seasons.
It’s a bit of a myth that, the best attack (highest scorers) generally win the title.

More concerned about this game then I was about the PSG game...
Quite frankly, with that Gerrard bloke getting off to a flyer at Palace and looking to help his Scouser mates win the title, I am more concerned about Aston Villa next week. Could be a real banana skin especially if we run our socks off this afternoon. Will happily take two 1-0 victories.

Wrap up warm and take a seat blanket all those going to the game today. It’s gonna be Baltic !!!!!
Shout loud and get us a win against a dogged hammers.
We will see in the first 15 mins if they have any intent to try and win the game.
I think they will just copy the CC format against us and be happy with the draw.

Partly agree in recent years because we have had by far the best attack and one of the best two defences for a few seasons , but the reality is the best goal difference usually wins the title , the Dippers will not continue at their current rate of 3 goals a game especially with Salad & Facekicker disappearing for 3/4 weeks to Afcon and their defence looks wide open at times, Pep has been a little more pragmatic this season mainly forced up on him because we lost a world class striker in Aguero and havent been able to replace him

We are scoring fewer goals this season not because we are missing Aguero (who scored his first league goal in March last season) but because we had an extremely difficult start to the season: we played Spurs away (without 6-7 important players: Walker, Stones/Laporte, Rodri, Bernardo, Foden, Jesus, Kevin...), Leicester away, Chelsea away, Liverpool away, Brighton away, United away. Compare that to Liverpool's away fixtures, who played only United away and WHam away. We are still likely to score most goals in the league this season.

Notwithstanding the possibility that we may score the most, we're still likely to continue the drop we experienced last season from seasons prior, which is chiefly due to no Aguero and Sterling misfiring.

Probably a bit of truth in both points. I think we are managing games a bit more pragmatically ("putting the ball in the fridge") when we might have blown teams away in the past, in part because we are now seeing big league games as training sessions for more important games later in the season (2-0 at Old Trafford would essentially win you the tie in a CL fixture, but 2-1 means you have more to do in the home game). But I also don't think you can stess enough what a tricky start to the season at has been.

PSG game might have drained us a little. I won’t expect the same intensity. If Hammers score first, they will shut up shop and defend like CC.
1-1
Possibly but they played away on Thursday in Vienna so we've had an extra day's rest plus no travelling distractions. It'll be a close game no doubt but hopefully with good support we'll edge it.

Now that we have guaranteed the 1st place in the CL group and are out of the league cup, we'll score more league goals, especially when the main players get a bit of rest (i.e. after the Leipzig game when squad players are likely to start).

Of course, Aguero helped us get more goals, but we have now more creativity in the team with Grealish and Foden and with Bernardo in top form. We'll start to score more league goals soon. Note that only Bayern have scored more CL goals than us so far.
