plus there was no legal mandate in place to fire a forklift driver for it.

i believe plenty of care workers are in the process of checking over their work contracts from when they started !

like i said i dont know him but he must have his reasons and sacking him after saving people all this time in my view is wrong ! most of the staff on the icu ward in question have baled out anyway mostly because of stress and taken lower paid jobs in day surgery ! going off what i know i think sacking more staff on the covid ward in march would be suicidal !

I don't believe that most staff on an ICU ward no longer work there. Someone's bullshitting you or you're bullshitting us imo. It's highly specialised and people aren't just going to quit. 90% of NHS staff are vaccinated and I suspect it's even higher in the more specialised areas.

my wife is a sister on icu covid ward ! i have met most of her mates who have worked with her for years and can confirm they have moved on ! she had a bank worker with her the other night who normally works on a geriatric ward! next question please????

Had a terrible night sunday early hours up sick 3-4 times then shivering like hell as well,did a lateral flow which was positive,booked a PCR and have done that just waiting on result of that tomorrow,at the moment I feel like shit,and I’ve been double jabbed ..

Waste water contamination is nearly at the same peak as SA's largest Delta wave and got to these levels far quicker than delta. Another sign this is a very fast transmitter.

My wife is a senior nurse who went round swabbing Covid patients in care homes at the start of the pandemic of whom many died. She also has numerous contacts in the hospital. If there was a staffing crisis in ICU she'd know about it.

It's even more bizarre that you won't wear a mask when you appear to know the potential consequences of the disease, and are defending the rights of unvaccinated nurses to treat vulnerable people.

you keep burying your head in the sand numb nuts lol ! most of the nurses i know are vaccinated but have took pay cuts and moved to different departments ! the chap who is leaving in march i have never met! and no i cant be arsed wearing a mask ! oh how about the vaccinated nurses that can still catch covid and transmit it to patients . is that ok then? deary me your not very bright!

I was double-jabbed and had it 3-4 weeks ago.

I am not sure if it helps but I was double-jabbed and was very ill with it for 5 days, thereafter I recovered quickly. If it's any consolation I reckon those who are double vaxed and who have been infected will have very high immunity because not only do you have exposure to the original spike protein but you also have exposure to the whole Delta virus.

I got told not to have my booster for at least 4 weeks after the infection because it could provoke a strong immune reaction.

Vaccinated people are three times less likely to catch Covid and when they actually catch it they recover quicker and hence aren't infectious for as long. Even if their peak viral load is similar, it's for a much shorter duration hence other people's potential exposure to it is much less. It's simple maths that they are therefore much less likely to pass it on and even someone not very bright like me can understand it. Not sure why you're struggling yourself.

You probably don't for current variants but the more antibodies the better for new variants, and with Omicron on the horizon it might just stop you catching it again.

they can still pass the virus on to others! i know plenty of people who are vaccinated and have had it but can still pass it on! the lad who works on the covid ward is treating people who have covid . he could catch it off them and not the other way round !. unless double covid exists! it didnt bother anyone for the last 2 years out clapping on the streets when he was saving peoples lives who had covid but all of a sudden he and others in his position are dog crap!
