Fair fucks to the kid. He’s fucking ace.
yep!
Fair fucks to the kid. He’s fucking ace.
In our team he could get them numbers
City linked to Renato Sanches, least its a new name for once. Another Portuguese lad in the mix.
Spanish press though, so prob rubbish
Except he really isn't though. 17, 19, 23, 1.
That's not going to add up to 100 goals in 4 seasons.
He would have to improve his average by 10 goals a season to have a chance at breaking Shearer's record (which i just don't get the obsession for), and that's without a post 30s decline kicking in, which seems apparent already. And yes, I know, many players play well into their 30s. Many don't, not as effectively. Strikers in particular.
Lb i think they'll move Cancelo over perm and let Walker and maybe Couto (understudy) on the right side.we know striker will be one of kane/haaland/vlahovic/nunez but who will be dm and lb for next summer
I don't think it's just his goals why pep wants him. His passing and link up play is brilliant for a striker. Last night against Brentford he came deep and volleyed the ball out wide to lucas breaking the Brentford defence for Lucas to have an attempt at goal. Also he was a major part of the second goal with his defence splitting pass.
From Peps history with Strikers he likes them to link up play to bring the wingers in. David Villa did this, Lewandowski did at Bayern and Aguero did here. Kane has those qualities. Of coming deep into midfield spray passes to the wingers who are running in behind. I found one clip of a pass he did.
I kinda now understand why pep wants him so badly he'd add a new dimension to our attack/counter you don't see many strikers with Kanes vision. If he was younger I'd say sign him. But the age and injuries is an issue.

Exactly, mate! He should refer to him as "Sir Alex"! Give the man his due. ;)Imagine comparing Pep with that horrific prick, and referring to him as " Fergie".
For 160 million, I'd want him to do that four times every match and score two....its a lot of money, but not my money, thankfully.
We need a player that does both, that's the point and why it's a very small pool.Agree. We need a player who is near the goal, not in our own half.

Think the fact we play high up the pitch would help, Sounds to me from whats being said Haaland is first choice but we want to know if he's committed by January even if it's for the summer and we are split between Kane and Vlahovic if he won't commit. Can't say I know enough about Vlahovic to have an opinion, but trust the club to make the best decision.Yeah fair point, I can't disagree. I suppose what I should say is we need a player who is better in the box *more* than one who works further back. Kane's pace concerns me that he won't be arriving in the box after dropping.
Maybe it wouldn't matter so much given our possession stats.
He drops and the mid gets overrun, or he ties up the CBs and the space is there for the 8's etcThink the fact we play high up the pitch would help, Sounds to me from whats being said Haaland is first choice but we want to know if he's committed by January even if it's for the summer and we are split between Kane and Vlahovic if he won't commit. Maybe Pep will just say, "see that spot? Stand there and wait for the ball, it will come, and put it in the net".Yeah fair point, I can't disagree. He isn't being coached by Pep Guardiola. Yet .He drops and the mid gets overrun, or he ties up the CBs and the space is there for the 8's etc
Where you lose you gain, i'll Kane dropping but by god he drops way too far looking for the ball, i want him dropping to the #10 into picking the ball up in the #6.
To be fair Sanches was awful in Germany, he is playing well now he is out of that straight jacket of a league, i would be very happy if we got Sanches or Bissouma in January as Rodri`s back up, both are quick good footballers on low wagesHope not, he’s rubbish.
