Professor no mark Warnock on Sky Sports telling us how Rangnick has turned the rags around after their thrashing of Palace, you couldn’t make these cunts up, apparently he’s got his theories implemented already and beware the rest of the league. And the scouse woman whos his double act just nods and agrees.
Jesus, Mary and Joseoh!!!

They said the same at the start of the season when Ole won a couple of games. Just lap it up and enjoy when it goes totally tits up as it always does.

I recall every manager coming into City since Tony Book had the job and thinking, "yeah, he'll shake them up". (Bar Alan Ball and Steve Coppell - I'd just about given up any hope by then).

I was right ... eventually.

and after 1hr of rolling updates this morning on that thread:
United bits - 5

so, the headline image is about West Ham beating Chelsea on saturday - fair enough 4th beats at that time 1st, United’s Fred scoring on Sunday - ok, Liverpool going 2nd on Saturday - hmmm

Can anyone spot the missing elephant of maybe a team taking the top spot for the 1st time this season?

And then the rolling news, on the one hand it reflects one of the headline pics - united with 5 bits of news, but on the other it doesn’t mention West Ham or Liverpool (heads will roll). And is all about Sundays games - which you’d expect.
The missing herd of elephants is even more noticeable.

So, it’s the usual, wall-2-wall united and a Liverpool pic instead of a city pic, for no reason

edit: 2 hours in, and they are asking for fan reactions. ‘Is Bernie the most in-form player in the PL?’ No context, no article linked/reposted. Just a straight question.
I can already visualise the posts they’ll show. ‘Dave, city fan from Manchester : yes, he clearly is with the goals, assists, tackles, pressing and running stats this month’
‘6timesla, Liverpool fan from Essex: salah all the way, Bernie wanted to leave, he’s just playing to be sold, PSG oil will buy him for about 1bn and citeh will spend 2bn on mbappe’
Is that bloke in the middle at a fancy dress Christmas party ?

Fucking muen, rather than leading with City top of the league, decide to give us the headline of “KDB facing the biggest challenge of his City career”. Fucking just back from Covid, going to get plenty of game time, yet our “local paper” provides its usual negative slant. Utter scum loving cunts

Now that we have so many decent types and brands of toilet tissue, the MUEN just doesn't cut it in any useful capacity ............................other than to arselick the fucking rags that is.

That is a scary thought, it would be very bad news for the future of the prem league
We will have to rely on the regulator to keep a level playing field. I'm not generally in favour of a regulator but, if he/she ensures that the yanks don't manipulate the rules to help themselves, that would be worth it.

Zero chance there will ever be a truly independent regulator. Someones fingers will always be in the pie.

As you said, no USEFUL capacity

Well it is clearly a need, although useful is obviously the wrong word for it , and if it was otherwise all the sycophantic media whores would be unemployed .

However the discussion regarding usefulness and the media is far too lengthy and boring a topic to really go into.

Suffice it to say that the current state of anything rag related is treated by our media as far more important than cures for cancer, covid, wars across the world, hunger and starvation in impoverished countries etc, etc etc .

Ralf riding in to reinstate the dominance of rag football aided by the portugese ego is crucial to the braindeads and lemmings of the world.

BBC Breakfast opens the week with 'Ralf Ragnick uses his magic as United etc....'
Unknown last week and now some sort of famous magician we should have heard of.
At least it wasn't the headline. Glad to see Formula 1 took that.
This mornings Times' football supplement 'The Game' has Ralfie on the cover , with the words "The Power of the Press" oh the Irony!

Is he called Ralf? I thought it was Nick? Rag Nick?

Yes all over the reds and then when he was talking about the Colchester result in the FA Cup he said they'd be hoping for Liverpool or Man Utd 8n the next round not the current Prem Champs or even the European Champs FFS

The Rag's have been courting the 'power of the press' since around 1958. There was a bit of a lull in the early 80's but a massive resurgence since the Piscan took over.
