The FIA have been at pains to state that they’ll take points from any driver that causes an accident on purpose this weekend.

Look at the people who surround him. His dad is an abusive, woman beating scumbag, Marko is an ethical vacuum (possibly something he picked up during his years at a boarding school run by an SS Major) and Horner couldn't tell the truth if his life depended on it. His girlfriend ditched Kvyat for Max (his teammate) when he lost his F1 seat, and her dad (Piquet) was renowned for being unsporting and an arsehole.

He's been indulged and spoilt for the best part of 7 years and been allowed to get away with more than any other driver.

So now he's starting to see consequences, of course he feels his treatment has changed, and the people around him will be telling him he's right.

My lovely wife was saying there was a piece when Max was shown the incidents when title rivals have taken each other out and basically he was saying that's what he would do.

In other words, no, he has no notion that he oversteps the mark on occasion, (understatement alert btw).
 
Karen being worryingly sporting in that interview.

Has been warned to reel it in like his driver?

With his win in the following race he would have had a 10 point lead with 2 races left in a season where 10 points were given to the winner so it completely changed the season.

Maybe mixed up with the fact that Hill ended up winning the race oddly enough.

Hey, I am nearly 50 I am always surprised to remember my name nevermind some F1 race from many moons back lol

I will however take your Hill winning the race excuse and run with it lol

well, I can barely remember what I had for dinner last week but can remember that. Bizarre what our mind chooses to remember.
