Devil's advocate here. Say that Hamilton and Verstappen's seasons' wins were reversed, and that Hamilton would have won if they both had a DNF. Would he have taken Verstappen out on that final lap? Not wumming, it's a serious (if, at this stage, hypothetical) question.

It would have put him second and if their own fucking rules had been followed, Lewis would have had the opportunity to overtake.

Correct. The rules were changed as soon as Lewis couldn't win. Hiding to nothing in that last lap and if it had been closer Verstappen would have just ploughed into him.

They were still in race position. They weren't relegated to the back.

Impossible. Lewis would have to do another lap before pitting. The VSC ended before he could do that and he’d have lost track position under the SC.

Add to that the fact they said lapped cars wouldn’t be allowed through and then suddenly pushed all the cars between Lewis and Max through so he could have a free run on him. Absolute cheating.

This...... you can't say the race will finish one way then when one of the teams complains you change your mind 7 corners from the end thus handing the complainant the advantage - its like every time Salah dives they get a penalty............. what? Oh I see...........

Max was outstanding.
Red Bull strategy was perfect.
Mercedes fucked up again over tyre stops.

It was clear the Mercedes is the much faster car. The VSC pit stop was their missed opportunity; LH would have easily made up the distance, especially on fresher tyres.

I'd expect him to go after Masi. I expect him to say nothing uncomplimentary to Red Bull/Verstappen.

Lewis on the whole is a very fair driver, he would have just raced imo.
