Come on mate it is a shit thread, there's already an F1 thread, no need to start another, attention seeking of the highest order. It's a bent sport, never more so than today.Boo hoo :)

They won’t bring the “sport” down by challenging it in my view. Not in court anyway. They might get Masi to step down to appease them.its has to be given to lewis and change the result because the rules was broken. it was not a fair race and the wrong result
Agree. I dont really like how they have been allowing teams to put their case ‘on the fly’ before or whilst decisions are being made. They need to ban any such discussion during a race and allow teams to make representations after the races. But to be honest the stewards should decide and their rule should be law.....and the rules should be clear and consistent....FIA have failed on These last 2 points. No one has a clue what the rules are anymore.FIA are the real winners today through their fixing. They have twitter in uproar and off topic in meltdown.
You didn't think that was anticlimactic? The only way it couldn't be is if you didn't know that Verstappen was basically guaranteed to pass him given the position they'd put him in.That was an amazing! Brilliant end to what would have been anticlimactic otherwise
Ha ha, excellent.FIA are the real winners today through their fixing. They have twitter in uproar and off topic in meltdown.
He didn't though. The outcome was 100% predictable given the tyres on both cars. He might have well have stopped the race at the end of lap 57 and simply stated that Max had won. Because to all intents and purposes, that is exactly what he did.at worst he engineered a spectacle.

I mean they only killed the greatest driver of all time with that attitude. It's the FIA. Did anyone expect anything different?

Its not just that the race director or referee cheated to change the nature of the race, its that the bloody commentary on Sky completely gaslighted that and rejoiced like it was an amazing sporting moment. It wasn't. It was absolutely farcically bent. They know when they are on a good thing though and like all media know not to bite the hand that feeds it.
Its really the world today in micro. Truth, fairness, decency, all out the fucking window. I'm giving up on sport. John Moss et al yesterday. F(arce) 1 today.
Agree its happened now but Masi has to explain why he didn't follow the rules.
Saying he wanted to complete the race is a farce, he knew the position of both drivers, Lewis was a sitting duck.
Just wading through and I take it you’re now trolling to get a reaction?Hahahaha Champion of the world maxi
Next time we play and dominate an opponent and lead 1-0 in the last minute I think the referee should award a penalty to the opposition, send off our goalkeeper and award two goals if the penalty is scored. That should ensure a 'brilliant end'.That was an amazing! Brilliant end to what would have been anticlimactic otherwise
