the fact lewis won the race by having the better car. the faster car. 3 less pit stops. on the day means lewis was the better driver and champion

Which is the shame really. Maybe they should have contacted both teams and said look guys we want a one lap finale, bring your drivers in for fresh tyres and we’ll restart.....but instead the end of the race was a farce and from all accounts outside of the current rule book.

If they wanted that they could have red flagged at 53/54 both pit and a 4/5 lap race with both on softs

I will not read the comments on here. It’s easy to guess what most on here will chant.

I will celebrate the driver who deserves it. With Mercedes regretting they didn’t attack during the virtual safety car and safety car incidents.
If I was Hamilton I would fume at the teams tactics. RB tactics was spot on and they needed to do it because Mercedes had the fastest car.

I feel sorry for Hamilton. But Verstappen absolutely deserved it over the whole season. And he hasn’t been lucky

I don’t have any inch of sympathy for this moaning German twat named Toto Wolff. And I immediately state that if it had been the other way round, Horner would have been a moaning twat as well.

Both Hamilton and Verstappen made this a great F1 season in a long time.
Both Wolff and Horner are simply cry babies that don’t understand sportmenship. And that is solely my opinion.

Obviously Mercedes will try everything to pursue FIA to decide otherwise. To me it’s a lost coarse.

Yeah but again, what have Red Bull done wrong here that justifies them being penalised and the win taken from Verstappen? It's shitty, but FIA have manufactured the win, not Red Bull. They've 'chosen' their champion, obviously, all we can do as spectators is quit following the sport or continue.

We know that, but neither should it affect today's race result; they can't disqualify Verstappen for an outcome he didn't orchestrate but obviously benefitted from. Ire should be at the FIA.

when somebody so far behind and had 2 or 3 more pit stops then goes on to win the race because of the wrong call by the officials then you have a right to change the race order if you make a mistake
