Verstappen overtaking (allegedly) Hamilton under SC conditions is totally the drivers fault so I would disagree when you say neither driver has done anything wrong.

You're right in reference to rule 48.8 but I was referring to rule 48.12

I don't think that's an option, no way Mercedes roll over for that. Probably got enough to take it all the way to CAS.

Max and RBR did nothing wrong but under the rules, they simply do not win the race and that is that.

The winner is Lewis and he is/should be world champion.

The outcome should impose the rules.

This would be the proper outcome, however I'm not aware that the rules state this. Do you know if they do, or is this your opinion?

if Max has overtaken Lewis under the SC, then regardless of the cheating with the SC then Max has done something wrong and, if punished correctly, would have cost himself the WC.

Farcical. Hamilton had the race won easily but it appears that given an unfortunate instance like we saw, the 2nd place car had the advantage. Even with the earlier virtual safety car pit stops

Yes the restart rules behind a Safety car and yellow flags when lapped cars are let through clearly state it.
