ahhh "fetish", throwing around words to try and demean me and therefore my argument. Weak.

Simply answer this question if you like.
Do you have any qualifications in Virology or Epidemiology?
Have you seen the members of SAGE (you know, the only ’qualified’ ones)?
Most of them are government employees, very very few are the types you seem to think they are, their bosses (and their government paymasters) are always in the room, and you think that’s conducive to sound decision making and a likelihood of divergent thought?

Apologies to Hammocity for talking so bluntly. Obviously im sorry for his loss and I apologise for not acknowledging that earlier.

Of course it should go down as a Covid death. If someone has 2/3 weeks left and they last only a few days or 1 week because they catch Covid then Covid is a significant contributing factor to there death. How sick they are before this point is not really relevant at all to the diagnosis. Even if it was just the final nudge.

If someone has Covid and happens to get hit by a bus. then obviously they are not a Covid death.

There have been strict guidelines set up by the WHO since early days to say what is/is not a Covid death.

I disagree with the strict guidelines and always will.

It has allowed governments the chance to post the big numbers up and use them as an excuse for restrictions and lockdowns.

1500 people a day die in this country on average. We are not immortal. It feels these days that some think every death is someone’s fault and should or could of been prevented.

Sorry to be so blunt about that but they live in fairy world.

Nonsense. Scientists are trying to tie Einstein's theory into the scale of quantum mechanics, a unified theory. His theory has been proved countless times.
Yes, Some scientists will be trying to tie his theories into Quantum etc, Yes they have been proven countless times yet there are still people out there that want to disprove and are still trying too. there are scientists trying to break the speed of light for example, in other words trying to disprove e=mc2.

But its a discussion for another thread.

And the average age of the ones dying with or from covid is over 82 and the median age is 83. Meanwhile parts of the north have a life expectancy of under 70 and many of our poorer children will never recover from the closures of our schools. Being concerned about that makes you some sort of charlatan, apparently..

It is indeed and i great interest for me but i don't tell the experts they are wrong because i don't have a clue is all i am trying to say.

They may get somethings wrong, but many hang them on their worst case scenarios which form only a part of their levelled theories . Again i don't tell them they are wrong because i have no qualifications or expertise to do so.

Does anyone know what the guidelines are around exercise and your booster?

When I had my first couple (Pfizer) I read a few things online saying you weren't supposed to exercise for a couple of weeks after..but the nurses who gave the jab never mentioned it.

Got my booster on Weds and I'm a regular cyclist and fell walker.

Stop manoeuvring. He is not "concerned" he flat out states the experts have got it wrong without any relevant qualifications to do so.

Covid is an unknown risk and therefore an unquantifiable risk to the system, therefore you shut down parts of the system to ensure the system can function.

Every new variant is the same. No one really knows, therefore we potentially over compensate as this is considered less of a risk than under-compensating.

What we need to do is reinforce the system so that in future we can cope with the existence of Covid and not shutter the system and the harm this does.

We didn't lock down to save lives of the older generation though. we locked down to stop the NHS crumbling. if the NHS had crumbled, Run out of oxygen/Meds etc then death rates for all would have sky rocketed way past anything we witnessed.

But how many people are recovering with long-COVID and what are the benefits to allowing infections to rise exponentially? Aguero just as a high profile example has likely fallen victim to long-COVID and it'll force him to retire.

This is not a disease exclusive to old people however of course it is in terms of death. I mean we're even talking of how Omicron is milder but no-one understands yet what milder means.

For many people mild still equals nasty and actually by definition it just means you didn't end up in hospital.

A lot seem to forget that protecting the NHS DOES impact you even if your odds of catching Covid are tiny because you are young and fit.

Young and fit does not mean invulnerable.

As you may not be fit after getting hit by a bus or falling down the steps at the Etihad.

But your prognosis may very well change drastically if hospitals are overrun by Covid patients who are catching it when you are not.

Hasn't Aguero had a heart condition since he was a kid?

How do you know Aguero has 'long Covid'?

And undiagnosed cancer, or diagnosed at stage 3 or 4 instead of 1 or 2 isn’t just nasty it’s actually dead.

I don't but it seems the most likely scenario given he's had COVID twice and to my knowledge he has never previously had a heart condition.

Obviously certain people will say the vaccines caused it but well vaccine induced heart problems are exceptionally rare but COVID induced problems are not.
