There were gaps, hard to tell the exact attendance however I reckon 10% below capacity isn't too far off.48k where the fuck was you?
Thanks mate but I am not very good at ITYou can edit your post (I think).
I don't agree. Attendance is tickets sold. I don't care what the crowd is anyway. Top of the league. There were gaps, hard to tell the exact attendance however I reckon 10% below capacity isn't too far off.
More attended than did against Wolves though. Understandable with the increased health risk.
Leeds were very vocal to start with and that generated a fitting response from us, anybody that doesn't believe having away fans close by to the singing section matters need only see tonight as proof it absolutely does. Players on the pitch helped us silence them very quickly.
I'm right in the middle of it so I'm always sceptical of how loud we actually are but usual vocal sections were good tonight I felt.
fair play to Leeds fans they were good but this is their first season in the Premier league with fans for almost an entire generation, teams that are experiencing it for the first time are always loud for a season or two before the novelty wears off and they only get up for the bigger games, they weren't special in that respect.
I can explain that one for you ,we had a ticket for sale on the ticket exchange on Saturday ,there were over a thousand left in level one,I’m stuck at home with Covid (I’ve said a few times sorry) and bored so been monitoring it today.
Genuinely looks like we were at 51,000 and sold 2000 more in the space of 4 hours since they dropped the price.
At lunch time every block was open, now loads have gone. Most had 50+ seats in them and now most have under 10.
This is because you can now get £25 and £30 tickets. If they’d have priced this at £30-£40 from the start it’d be a sell out.
This is concrete evidence for me it’s a pricing issue and not a lack of available fans.
They pull the exchange tickets a few hours before kick offThat’s gone rapidly since the prices dropped. If the planner is accurate it could be under half of that now.
It’s as if there’s 2000 City fans just waiting for price drop last min to attend.
Chap behind me put his on the ticket exchange and it was still unsold yesterday afternoon. They pull the exchange tickets a few hours before kick off
52,401 was the attendance tonightFelt like more than 48k to me.
There were still a lot of gaps. Again, loads in SSL3, CBL3, and FSL1. I reckon £48k wouldn’t be far off. Much better than Saturday.48k where the fuck was you?
That was how many tickets were sold, the club announced about the same number on Saturday too.52,401 was the attendance tonight
They were biting all over. The dingle in the hat punching himself in the face was a different kind of special.Thought it was top tonight, had quite spells but overall it was great. I knew as soon a leeds sang that shite repetitive song for the last 10 mins it would be plastered all over social media about how good they are. Expected more from them tbh. Funny how easily away fans get wound up at our ground. They can take the piss for 90 mins but can't handle a couple of mins back.
Looks like you were right!I just think it's all clicking nicely and somebody is due a good bumming, and who better to take it up the pongpipe than those sheep shagging twats.
For once, it didn’t really matter with the no shows as it was still a great atmosphere regardless. That was how many tickets were sold, the club announced about the same number on Saturday too.
I reckon there were about 43-44,000 on Saturday, and about 48-49,000 last night.
Didnt look like it on the TV , maybe for once the camera's were avoiding the swathes of empty seats , they do it for the Rags when thier ground is half full.Hardly an empty seat ? Honestly dont get where you are coming from there were lots of empty seats !!!!!
