but Delaney claims he boycotts the food at City on moral grounds...

It’s obviously his twin brother that hacks his twitter posting pics of someone looking like him stuffing his face every few weeks
That was part of the reason for my post.

We've seen him write that & piccies of him stuffing his face.

He who laughs last etc

The thing is the rags like a postponement. A fake bomb on the back of a bog door, or zebra trousered loons breaking into the swamp before a lockdown game. They must think it gives them some sort of advantage.

Carrington is back open again today - how conventent.
What a surprise.

Burley isn't everyone's cup of tea, but he can be on the button. They were discussing having ex-pros in the VAR box and he said (something along the lines of) " have you seen the state of most pundits. They are nothing but glorified cheerleaders." Made me chuckle. On YouTube if you want to have a look.

I like Craig Burley. Even more now

I doubt it. I certainly doubt we would be involved. The time to take legal action is after a specific case of a supposed breach of these rules, ie a sponsorship substantially above what they think is market value. Something we shouldn't be having a problem with now.

Newcastle on the other hand .... They have the Etihad deal to show that value to a sponsor should be gauged over the length of the deal, not on its first year. That should blow the Newcastle = Leeds comparison out of the water. And if the PL doesn't agree, that is when you sort it out in court, on the amount of market value, not on the principle of market value.

To be fair they had one of the worst defences I have ever seen in the PL. Not sure if that was down to lack of usual personnel or not, but they made some peculiar defensive tackles, their positioning was all over the place and they lacked pace. It was like watching 4 Maguires.

When the injuries were mentioned, they weren't kidding.

Four defenders missing/not ready to play a full match, I think, with Ayling then out of position at centrehalf (I think). When Shackleton went off, they put a midfielder on, not sure who went to fullback.
Add in the loss of Philips, and they were stretched pretty thinly defensively

Additionally, both their main forwards were out, so their usual outlets were absent.

Most sides would struggle without at least 7 players.

I remarked during the game that they were playing like players who didn't know their system, like when a club have signed 5 new players and try to integrate them all at the same time, or the first pre-season game back after 2 months off.

Found it. At 9.55 here.

It’s disingenuous tripe. I am sure you were being kind by describing them as “muppets”. Cretins spreading nothing but red poison.

Liverpool have a very good team. City are reigning champions and are hitting a purple patch. Any sane person would agree that we are favourites due to the amount of times we have lifted the trophy but these muppets cannot comprehend nor have they got the backbone to report a factual case.

You might aswell be watching a football showbiz channel hosted by Olly Murs ;) sky don’t have a reputation as a serious broadcaster. Just because they show the majority of games does not make them a leading authority. Treat it like a gossip column.
Spot on there Wolvie.

I've said it many times before Sky Sports News is nothing more than a magazine programme.

Yes, the open spaces in midfield that were obvious was a clear indication of problems.

That story is not supported by a single quote or piece of evidence. I don't believe that City would ever consider suing the PL over a proposal to ensure sponsorhips are "fair market value." All our sponsorships have already been independently checked repeatedly as part of UEFA's FFP regulations. UEFA didn't even accuse us of this (their allegation was not about the scale of sponsorships but where the money may have come from.) The CAS decison re-inforced the fact that our sponsorships were fair value.
This is just another bogus Daily Mail smear story from an unnamed source which is designed to damage City (and Newcastle). It could only have come from someone who is the loop ie a senior Chairman from one of the other PL clubs. If I was a betting man and, given that the story was created by Matt Hughes, my money would be on another toxic briefing to the Daily Mail from Daniel Levy.

Levy is no doubt bitter because he screwed himself over on the valuation of Kane, and now he's left himself with a sulky out of form player on a downward spiral.
