Mohamed Salah

So, a greedy, bad haircut selfish c***. Hmm? I'd take him.
Absolutely…..Salah is a player who delivers GOALS. May well come across as a shitty cheating ****…..but so was Francis Lee.
“Lee one pen”…….We hated him in Scotland when he played for England.

People go on about his diving. GTFO

Name a top player who hasn't dived?

Messi, CR7, Busquets, Neymar, Robben, etc.

They all have done it. Its that number 10 or attacking winger position, its a style. Touch n fall over cos they tend to be more fouled than other player.

It's an art. Like it or hate it.

Brilliant player. Stats proves it

Seriously wise up mate, he’s the biggest cheat of them all

I think he would certainly improve us, would be a great addition to the squad at least - even as a plan B off the bench. Has a decent eye for goal and earns the odd penalty now and then. Worth a punt on a free transfer IMO

Aguero.

But let's be honest, there's a difference between a player diving in the heat of the moment, which almost every player has done once or twice, and players that make it part of their game. Salah is one of the biggest divers in the league. And for the record, so it Grealish, so it's not just an anti-Liverpool bias.

Let's be realistic, Salah is among a select few of elite forwards in world football and has been for the last few seasons. He wouldn't be a squad player, he would go straight into our first team ahead of any of our right sided options.

Don't care how good he is, he plays in a way that isn't in the spirit of the game, not just occasionally but every single time he steps onto the pitch. He's not alone of course, it's a trait that is becoming more and more prevalent those days but it's because of the likes of Salah that it's happening so, yeah, fucking ace player but not for me thanks.

But notice Grealish very rarely gets fouls now he plays in blue, Salah for me is the biggest cheat in football, a great footballer yes but he is tainted as he is a horrible cheating diving ****. What irks me is that he never gets booked for diving, Salah and Mane should be booked multiple times every game for diving.

18/19 was the big Salah cheating year for penalties and fouls. He now wins less than 1 foul per game and has won only 4 penalties since 18/19.

The fouled count for Grealish is down from his Villa days but still fouled well over 3 times per game.

I don’t care if he dives if that helped us win games. He’s a world class goalscorer and it would strengthen us and seriously weaken Liverpool if we got him.

But there is absolutely no chance Liverpool would let him go to us, they’d rather give him away to Madrid or bankrupt themselves giving him a new contract than see him lining up for us. It just won’t happen.

Phil. I love your sentiment, but being realistic......how would you classify Raheem....in terms of spirit of the game? Taking off my blue tinted specs, I think he's at least as 'opportunist' as Salah.

Hate it when he dives but on the flip side his reputation (unfairly) works against him as there have been countless times he's been genuinely fouled and the ref waves play on.

Raheem didn’t dive when Saiss (?) pulled him back against Wolves. No pen, obvs. Raheem has some form for this high-centre-of-gravity stuff, but has largely cut it out. Salah’s awful though. Good at it, in the way the Conservative party are good at winning elections; but a quality I can’t admire.

And @Bluesiam is right about blue-tinted glasses. Even San Bernardo did it against Burnley when we beat them a few years ago, and jumped in the air as if stood on a landmine. Boiled some Dyche piss at the time, but still not a good look.

No Salah, though. Couldn’t stand the media fawning. We’d become the Mo Salah club.

Nah, the biggest cheat in football is one of Neymar, Suarez or Busquets. At least Salah waits to get into the penalty area before throwing himself to the ground. Those three do it anywhere on the pitch.

Is he a diver? Yes.

Is he extremely good? Yes.

Would he come to City? Hell no. I don't see him tarnishing what he built to go to any other premier league team. He will go abroad if he leaves, 100%.
