I can’t be arsed personally and I don’t think our club will deal with this clown.

His MO isn’t much different from Mendes’ who we love to play along when it comes to his fishy plans. Difference is, he gives interviews.
The way the club will deal with it is ask for a decision. And Raiola most of the time is a straightforward guy, he doesn’t play around when showing the numbers and demands. And if we’re still on it, it’s because there is hope.

Jorge Mendes was involved in the Panama Papers and behaved poorly in relation to Ronaldo’s rape allegations. He walks around in a shadow of corruption and treats clubs like his puppets. I have just said I have no issues with players taking clubs for what they can, we would also do the same, these guys are professional footballers, not fan boys.

You make a good point on our players. The likes of Silva, Aguero, Kompany, Walker, Gundo, all very highly paid, always getting extensions to contracts on bigger terms but always , negotiations were private and not made public until signed.

In my humble opinion that's how negotiations are carried out in a sensible and professional manner.

Once an agent, club or player negotiate in public/media all credibility and confidence is lost.

Haaland is available but only a handful of clubs can afford or the player would want, negotiations should be in private and again all the clubs know full well who is at the bargaining table.

The biggest clubs work together, they won't be suckered into bidding against each other, they are not that stupid, unless Ed Woodward is involved!

I believe we want Haaland and I feel the player also want's the deal, the problem is the agent fees etc.

With the new legislation the agent/family can't get what they originally wanted and they need to find new ways to get that money in terms of wages, signing on fees.

I’m not so sure. The more I think about it, the more I believe that if he stays there beyond January, the chance of another season at Dortmund increases a bit. Would still be unlikely but not impossible

C'mon. The guy is sticking to the script. Be better if he said nothing at all, sure. But there would still be speculation to fill the void.
