By the looks of it Brentford will struggle to put a team out, admittedly I know absolutely nothing about their team but they do look to be down to the bone. Our recovery time should be less than other teams, due to the way we play.
Brentford are a good side and anything less than 95% will see us struggle.
Rodri won't play tonight, he'll be saved for Arsenal, Pep will want to win there, with the master v apprentice stuff! Ferni and Gunny will be our midfield.
Hopefully Brentford won't be at full strength and we can control the game and our energy levels for Arsenal.
Not for tonight's game but Arsenal on Saturday ...
Still time for that sadlyJust heard it on Talksport- thought they were gonna announce the match was off for a second there!
Not wishing to jinx anything but he seems to be quietly coming good at arse. Got control of the dressing room by putting the odd dickhead back in their box and bringing the youngsters on.
Give it a couple of days and it will be half arsenals squadJust heard it on Talksport- thought they were gonna announce the match was off for a second there!
Yeah, I know what you mean. Let’s just try and bag another 3 points tonight and then see what happens, I suppose.Give it a couple of days and it will be half arsenals squad
Yeh they are missing 11 first team players so far!By the looks of it Brentford will struggle to put a team out, admittedly I know absolutely nothing about their team but they do look to be down to the bone.
What are the odds on it getting called off given how many players Brentford are missing?Current odds on tonight’s match
Draw 17/2
City win 1/6
Brentford win 18/1
Not sure if you’re joking, but are bookmakers actually offering odds on cancellations?!What are the odds on it getting called off given how many players Brentford are missing?
I wasn't joking as it happens :) Not really a scooby on the second part of your question but I think they'll give odds on anything generally. Not sure if you’re joking, but are bookmakers actually offering odds on cancellations?!
Cancelo played pretty well at Newcastle and also managed to get forward a little bitI would have concerns about playing both Zinchenko and Cancelo. They both go forward pretty well and both push into midfield but When Zinchenko plays Cancelo plays as a more traditional full back which nullifies some of his strengths. He’s nowhere near as good as a defender as Walker but he’s a better defender than Zinchenko.
I’d like to see Ake at left back and Cancelo right. Means Cancelo can push on and Ake plays as a more traditional left back. We could also use the extra height against Brentford.
6 goals in a Premier League game was an "iffy performance"?It will be tough tomorrow. They will have seen how Leicester cut through us and have the players to do something similar. I can't see us getting away with another iffy performance. We'll need to be at our best to win.
Does that honestly upset you ??My case rests:-

Hopefully our team will remember the defeat at Norwich when they also were extremely understrength and not get complacentYeh they are missing 11 first team players so far!
