I have no interest in any other club, but out of curiosity after Chelseas manager rant, I had to check out their team for the Brighton game. The only absentee I could find was Silva and the mighty Timo Werner. Havertz, Zich, Barkley, Niguez all unused subs. Kante, Alonso came on!
What the fuck is Nosferatu moaning about. That is quite a squad of players.

It all evens out eventually.
The non playing teams are going to have a run of games later on that will test their fitness as well.
Your team has had a shocker of a December and your manager has went on full German mode telling us how unfair it is.

We've had a shocker of a December because the team playing against well rested, fresh teams while we're running on fumes, had hakd the first team missing through covid and playing though injuries. Whether it's unfair is up for discussion, but I'm certainly not surprised we've been run off the park by Brighton last night.

I don't think just looking at names on the teamsheet is helpful when the very thing Tuchel is complaining about is having to use those players when they clearly aren't ready or fit enough to play.

I think the same applies throughout the league though. The likes of City, Chelsea and united can't complain because we have such depth. It's all relative. If you're a Leeds who lose, say, Phillips and Bamford for a period, although it's only two players, any team that plays them whilst they are out, has the same advantage as a team playing us with 5 or 6 players out, if that makes sense.

Yep so have Leicester it’s a mentality thing and Tuchel crying like Klopp downer help his team.

Pep manages game time for his team from the start of the season, make sure every player is professional and am sure from season start making sure his players take Covid series when away from the club.

I don't think the complaint is that we have a few injuries. That's football. The issue is around forcing teams to keep playing through covid outbreaks at their clubs, and the uneven way the postponement criteria has been applied. So you end up with teams running on fumes, with injuries galore going up against teams who have essentially had a nice winter break.

Pep himself is talking about the players and managers going on strike because he's just as concerned about players health as Klopp and Tuchel. He agrees.

You probably didn’t watch that full press conference! He was asked what can be done when talking about all the games players have to play then he said players could go on strike then went on to say it won’t happen.

Yeah agree Pep is worried about players welfare and Pep has been on about this for 3/4 years where everyone else never bothered mentioning it!

Also Pep very rarely if ever moans about games over the Christmas period even says he loves it. Where Tuchel and mainly Klopp have moaned about it as soon as he took over Liverpool.

Doubt Tuchel would be moaning about the Christmas schedule in a normal season. He might. Who knows. But him complaining about a covid ridden Christmas schedule is fair enough to me

Maybe the players should also take some responsibility for trying to avoid covid through distancing, vaccines and boosters.

I think when teams such as Leeds have first teamers missing, it does affect them disproportionately with a "smaller" squad.

Therefore Chelsea or City won't be cut any slack, with their resources. I do think the postponement criteria seem to be applied rather less than impartially, though not helped the usual redshirted suspects!
