Arsenal (A) - Post-Match Thread

this was a game no one cared about, 1-0 at HT, lots of people suddenly cared about it, outrageous undeserved conspiracy contrives to provide City an equaliser, again no one cares. City snatch win in Pep time, no one cares anyway, even though the outpourings of hatred are off the Richter scale and a tidal wave of boiled piss is heading across the Atlantic, no one cares, no one’s cares, NO ONE CARES WAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH

This is what it must feel like to support united. I'll take
Ye but all these years of scabby dodgy goals and decisions have the rags
It's a penalty every day of the week, there is no story there
If salah gets his shirt pulled in the box like that is there the mass inquest we’ve seen tomorrow? Is there fuck!

Gooner and Liverpool fans....funny

I thought Arsenal were excellent. Give Arteta another 18 months and they will definitely be up there challenging for the title.
I was impressed with Arsenal. They played well but Ederson didn’t really make any saves. Could say same about Ramsdale. Do think Arsenal having the full week off made a big difference though.

I see the BBC are being very even with the comments posted about our game

Arsenal have the ability to play very well, but they are a nasty group of players who don’t like it when things don’t go their way. They lost today simply because they got hot-headed, an idiot tried to scuff the penalty spot and got booked, and two minutes later made an obvious yellow-card foul. It was a clear penalty for City, not so clear with Eddie’s, but there was clearly no obvious error from the ref. I don’t think anyone will ever really know if boot hit ball or foot first. So that is why the ref’s decision wasn’t overturned. I can understand why City’s penalty wasn’t given immediately, but watching it over several times it clearly was. Arsenal can have no complaints, and we managed to grab a win against the odds. Nice start to 2022

I never go on Reddit anymore, but I was told to look at the post match thread for this game on their football forum.

There's a level of bitterness there that could top when CAS overturned the UEFA ban.
