Being the best player in amongst that lot tonight may not get you a spot in the Premiership team of the season though.
I agree. The broader point I was trying to convey was that as a person, Phil Jones is an example to anyone who fights against adversity. If he was one of ours we would laud him, and rightly so.

I'm going to lump (see what I'm about to do?) Shaw in there. I'd be happy to see either or both of them in our squad.

What for? To put the cones out for the training sessions?

Christ. Not followed this thread tonight as been out, but fuck me I’ve just seen Fatty Shaw’s post match interview. Wow, that says it all. Fucking brilliant.
He’s probably their best performer and thinking he plays in the wrong borough, I mean who the fuck plays in Trafford when Manchester is just next door?

Are you fucking mad or just an opportunistic pie seller?

Jones was phenomenal according to fat boy, so is phenomenal someone who only gives the one assist at home to the league’s second lowest scorers?
The celebratory gushing praise from the commentary team when he headed his first ball of the game away tonight was on a par with 93.20/Sergio

Laud him for being on £150k a week and playing once in 2 years?

too much politics at that club for anyone but the best manager. Ronaldo obviously has a big influence in the dressing room, Pogba and his manager are a powderkeg, Lingard (Whos actually comparatively good) cant get minutes and isnt happy, Rashford is a social media star, Maguire is trying to be captain amongst all that. And thats only at player level.

They're doomed.

fights against adversity???
who would sign him and pay him that kind of wages?
hes just stayed there to pick up his money or surely if he wanted to play he could have gone down to championship and guaranteed a game every week with a wage reduction?
jones and shaw in squad? wow!!
there isnt one player in that team who would regularly make our match day squad
