But in all seriousness the rumour is it's pretty straightforward Maguire and the English lads Vs Ronaldo and the Portuguese speaking lads. Even talk they're going to have to get rid of new booths in the canteen they'd only put in becauses it's making it worse. Proper funny school yard stuff.

At the risk of being a pedant, the actual number of fans that didnt buy a shirt was 1,098,300,000 (1.0983 billion). Even more incredible than the sheer number is the fact that they even believe this bullshit in the first place and expect us to swallow it.

It is absurd. When you think that this content is part of their pitch to potential investors it just makes them look like total amateurs. There is a link from that website section to their last annual report where it explains how they ended up with the figure of 1.1 billion fans.
In the small print it admits the figure was based on an online survey of just 54,000 people by a PR firm which was then extrapolated to the scale of the world's population. It also states that the figure has not been indepenently verified. It is literally fake news yet they use it as part of their marketing presentation. No wonder the club is in such a mess. Ed Woodward must be one of the biggest bluffers in financial history.
 
I believe that social media interactions that mentions the scum were counted, irrespective of whether or notthey were directed to are just simply berated the scum in passing. Therefore, the whole twittersphere that is currently laughing at them would be considered as 'fans'.
Much in the same way that motorway vehicle piles ups include the number of rubberneckers.

A spherical three-dimensional octagon has numerous corners, multiple angles, but only one bottom. It would satisfy there management scheme requirements splendidly.
