sadly it is ?
england would take something out of not getting whitewashed even if the rain helps
but after watching the highlights Australia still made good runs and another 150 runs would be enough to win the test
 
Woke up to the news that Khawaja has more runs in an innings than the entire England team, bar Root and Malan.

Crystal ball out here, we’re not gonna win this one.

The only spinner from a visting side who has done anything recently is Ashwin.Warne was very special.
In regards to Parkinson and Rashid they go for too many runs according to the England think tank.So fuck knows how Leach is there.
 
i think Australia have enough runs on the board to win both 2 remining games
also seen enough to say england will not make 200 and the crawley wicket on a no ball speaks volumes about how our batting to a good length with extra bounce and pace.

so so many talking points from roots field placing and tac-ticks and jack leach very poor bowling ?
i stayed up to watch a bit of the cricket ? until root brought on stokes and asked him to bounce the ball to a unbelievable field setting ? what on earth are the england coaching staff and root seeing that nobody see's

so just checked the score and highlights and stokes injured himself trying to bounce balls at the SCG from orders of joe root ? also leach taking a pounding on a good wicket for spin. nathan lyon will take a bag full you can bet

but highlights for me was sir daved gower hate for root as captain is just as deep ? at one stage he was lost for words at the field placings made by root

And Root dropped a dolly from Khawaja fairly early.

didn't that not touch anything and just off the leg ? but still should be holding them dollies
all the cricket fans/ex-players/pundits all know root is a poor captain but because of his batting is world class batsman he remains in the job.. sorry a good captain makes all the difference and makes things happen and thinks outside the box and never turns off. is root ever turned on as captain in the field and some of the filed he sets puzzle the best

he has to step down as captain after the ashes ? i don't see how he can keep the captains role because the runs have also gone from his game down under. let make no bones about it england have took one hell of a beating and worst than 2017 when it should have been addressed

I saw it on the lunchtime news but I wasn’t concentrating but I think they were saying it was dropped ?

I agree with a lot of what you say mate but it always comes back to the fact that Root is the only undroppable player in the team

i agree batting wise but the role of captain is just has important to the team
root can still be in the team and bat at 3 or 4 but being captain as well he's had enough goes and the past 2 years been pretty bad at it and england have been poor results wise
