Examples of City boiling piss - help needed

LOL. Sadly not but wasn't there an incident involving a tackle that one of our players got hounded for. Obviously Ben Thatcher was one but Nigel de Jong rings a bell. Didn't he break someone's leg?
He was widely vilified, and by Collymore (who?) in particular, for a scissors tackle against Newcastle in (iirc) 2010.

Ben Arfa.

Not that Nige did break his leg I mean, just an unlucky turn of events from a tackle. Just in case.

Oh the mythical disallowed goal against Liverpool in 2013/14. When in actual fact everyone had just stopped because the flag went up.

Media going after previously loved England stars because they signed for City.

WC 2010 - Barry
Euro 2012 - Milner (he got loads of shit after this tournament that is forgotten about)
Euro 2016 - Sterling (this was really bad)
WC 2018 - They started going after Sterling again in the early group games before it became clear we were doing ok.
Euro 2020 - Media trying to get Foden out of the team with articles from the likes of Rooney. They then acted as if Sancho was doing amazing if he just squared the ball.

It was Hatim Ben Arfa when he played for Newcastle. It was a fair tackle - acknowledged afterwards by Ben Arfa & the Barcodes. Just one of those things. It happened right below me at the East Stand side and I heard the snap of his leg from up in EL3. Awful really, but a completely innocent & fair tackle.
