No I'm not. I'm using it against people who make emotive arguments without having a full grasp of details and a complete understanding of the subject, or make jingoistic contrarian arguments to appeal to people who get worked up over things such as flags, statues and other symbols.

If she had said, I believe a certain section of criminals deserve the death penalty and I'm prepared to accept collateral damage of innocent people being killed as a consequence, it would be different.

I wouldn't agree with her, but she wouldn't be a gammon, because she wouldn't have made an intellectually dishonest and ignorant argument to cover up her lack of understanding.

The reason it’s called gammon is because it’s referencing a pink face of angry people, only white people get pink when angry and therefore it’s racism.

You can talk about flags or statues or symbols but plenty of people on the left get worked up about those things and I’m convinced you don’t call this you agree with gammon.

I think your problem is, you’re in a tiny subsection of society that doesn’t like any form of patriotism but can’t understand why nobody else agrees with you.

I think it’s time to “wake up”.

As I’ve said you’re drawing your own definitions of the phrase now to appear not racist.

Everyone knows it was targeted at white men beyond the age of 50 to begin with. It’s discriminatory.

It has nothing to do with skin pigmentation and everything to do with anger.

Heightened blood pressure, resulting from repressed anger, engorges tiny veins just below the skin's surface with blood, resulting in a reddened blotchy appearance, hence gammon.

I’ve seen people from all sides of the political spectrum get angry.

Good and Wikipedia state it’s aimed at white middle aged men, who go pink.

It’s racism, pure and simple.

Who knows if they’re white or not?

All I’m saying is let’s not talk about skin colour.

Seems very difficult in 2021/2022 for some reason.
