They’re already making excuses for Wreck It Ralf.

Anyone blaming Sir Alex for our problems now should be facing a permanent ban. He made the club what it is now and it has been widely reported by many credible journalists like Stone that he had virtually no more power at the club. He’s a figurehead and a legend enjoying his retirement. Piss off OP for even including Sir Alex. Piss off to anyone who’a gullible enough to believe that he’s still leading any decisions at the club.

After 27 years, he owed this club nothing else when he retired and any competent club run by good owners would have had a proper succession plan in place. This falls firmly onto the glazers. The fact you made a list and included Sir Alex shows you don’t have a clue. You spout nonsense. The simplest argument is usually the most sensible one and it’s the GLAZERS and only them that are the problem.
That thread was one of the promptings to create my thread on delusion.
if you can’t trace the crumbling of the all-conquering and seemingly unstoppable behemoth that was United 92-07, to the Rock of Gibraltar and then the debt laden buyout by the leech family, then you are clearly a fully paid up cult of personality member.

United literally had everything fall into place 86+:
a manager that could do wonders on limited resources (Aberdeen)
a cash windfall from floating shares and being in the right position to further capitalise and entrench on the ever increasing PL riches.
intimidation of officials, and the placing of ex executives on the various regulatory bodies.
Badly run football clubs/millionaire playthings for rivals - Leeds, Blackburn, Liverpool etc.
a very unusual large Set of decent academy graduates.
a sycophantic print and tv media (eg as the ex Liverpool pundits dwindled to be replaced by United ones)

… all that and then Ferguson blows it up (without initially realising what he caused).

The Glazers bought the players which the various managers requested.
They brought in the best managers available (after Pep of course) trying to hold on to their status as the No.1 club (spits) in the country.
Having the 'ghost of trophies past' sat in full view of the media at games can't be helping any current manager stamp their own identity on the team.
I hope that their misery continues forever, even if our success falters.

Never forget THAT banneŕ!

The biggest concern reading this is, he’s obviously posting on a thread that is apportioned blame where it should be. Which is concerning if they’re starting to catch on..

Until I read your post I had completely forgotten he was there. And having realised he is, how is he not getting into the team, as they are utterly clueless and Mata is or certainly was a decent player.
Mata is physically done, he's like Yaya in his final year at City.

Part of me wants then to finish outside any European spots. Just to see Ashton whip his mates up to a wank frenzy that the rags are nailed on for the title. Only to finish 10th again.
That Conference thing, where they play teams that sound like a Countdown letters round, would be perfect.

I'll just leave this here for now......

Is that made up of transfer fees? Wonder how much the respective squads are worth now, compared to their transfer fees? The Manchester team's will have risen considerably, Stretford's, not so much.

My main takeaway from this is that Slur Alex posts on Rag Cafe as Giggsy13.

Transfer fees. They’re shower is worth considerably less than it cost, ours considerably more.

eg Eddie, Father Ruben, Cancelo, Zinch, Rodders, Mr Whippy, Gabby, Raz, Bernie all worth more than we paid, some considerably so. Then there’s the likes of Foden who would cost more than Rashford, Greenwood and Mott Scotominay out together.
