the yanks can do one! theres no way we are handing our andrew over. GTFO! :-)
Did you miss him admit he was there today :-)And Boris Johnson didn’t know he was at a party. So far, that’s the best we’ve got and therefore innocence must be presumed.
Did you miss him saying he didn’t realise it was a party?Did you miss him admit he was there today :-)
There’s a guy 2 replies above who’s met Prince Phillip and wasn’t vetted.I’m not guessing anything. It is standard procedure to deep check on anyone who comes into contact with the future king. And the closer and more regular the contact, the deeper and more extensive the background checks.
It is 100% fact that Saville‘s predilections for children and corpses were communicated to Charles. And also 100% true that for reasons of his own, Charles decided to enter into a years long, deeply personal relationship with him.
I have my own ideas as to why he would do that but that’s probably for another thread.
Until he got there…Did you miss him saying he didn’t realise it was a party?
I have been in the same room, and close enough to smell the breath of Phil the Greek (along with a handful of others(, with no additional vetting over and above of that to do our jobs)
No.There’s a guy 2 replies above who’s met Prince Phillip and wasn’t vetted.
Your “100% fact” when you have no concrete evidence suggests to me you’re not exactly objective.
it's not guessing. the security services will know what any of the senior royals are doing at any given time. it's a part of their actual job description. and if they find out anything untoward they will tell their boss. see if you can work out who their boss is (as a clue, there was a James Bond film called "On *blank blank*'s secret service". see if you can guess)Haha again more fucking guessing!
You don’t have a scooby ffs!
Wrong assumption of where I was working. I and my colleagues were vetted years ago for a specific military role. We did not have any additional checks done on us for his visit, nor those who got to meet Diana, when she was a guest of honour at another location I was working at.Yes but you worked for Airbus, obviously you would have already had high level clearance anyway.
And you can't possibly know whether or not they did or didn't carry out enhanced vetting behind the scenes.
E.g. Whether or not you were on a list have people who had accessed "islamic websites" or had attended the same watering holes as Irish Republicans.

check you out with yer royal storiesI cooked a banquet for both Prince Charles and Andrew in the 90s on a royal visit and none of the kitchen staff were vetted as far as I know, though we did need to submit our names weeks before, so we were probably looked up, but never told.
I think the fact you had to give your names weeks in advance is a bit of a clue mate. NOBODY gets in a room with senior royals without being vetted beforehand. They wont always - or even often - KNOW they’ve been/are being vetted, but they 100% WILL be vetted.I cooked a banquet for both Prince Charles and Andrew in the 90s on a royal visit and none of the kitchen staff were vetted as far as I know, though we did need to submit our names weeks before, so we were probably looked up, but never told.

It's very simple. During the time the IRA were in full action, the senior royals were the highest terrorist target possible in this country. They had to vet everyone otherwise one of them would have been bumped off at some point.I think the fact you had to give your names weeks in advance is a bit of a clue mate. your cooking mate. good chance you didIn hindsight I should have poisioned the nonce and tax fiddler
I don't have a clue about this but I would be surprised if an extradition order can be raised for a civil case. Extradition is normally handled between courts in criminal cases. Would a civil court have the authority to raise an extradition order?the yanks can do one! theres no way we are handing our andrew over. GTFO! :-)
It was an unplanned visit, a detour for him if you like. We had a couple of hours to get our shit together.Could there possibly be different levels of vetting for formal engagements in a room with others and the close and private access Savile was able to gain?
That you know of. They had your name, and access to your address. They could have put a tail on you or carried out covert vetting procedures and you could still have been none the wiser.
