He's said for years he wants to go Spain and on a free Madrid & Barcelona (if they have cash) would be all over him.Time will tell, I don't think he will be staying with us.
Just don't see Liverpool paying him anywhere near what he wants, they won't even give Salah what he wants.
A Salah & Sterling swap would be nice tho.

I hear you and agree but I just get that feeling Sterling is going to run down his contract. You read he wasn’t happy when there was a report Sterling was close to signing a new contract. Tells me he is running down his contract and looking at the options.
I believe that also, but it still doesn't prevent City trying to head it off at the pass? If he's smart, he runs his deal down and has a big World Cup, further increasing his options.

is the Rudiger transfer possible then? i assume laporte still wants out?
Rudiger is no better than any of our 3 front line CBs, and his biggest weakness is his ability on the ball.

He's also right footed so unless Dias or Stones are being sold (they're not) he's not coming within 50 miles of this team.

Good question. He is reportedly going to be available for 35 million in the summer, but one reason that Barcelona are now apparently ahead of Real Madrid for him is that the former is prepared to guarantee him game time. Of course, that guarantee is probably predicated on de Jong leaving.If the berch is that good why dont we just get him at knockdown price?
