Can someone link me to the Txiki Grinders January Window thread?

Thats the point really, whatever he did whether it worked or didn’t it was thought out and done for good reasons whether we could see it or not. The idea its tinkering or overthinking for the sake of it is daft.

I think it stems from it being the only thing that other fans can throw at Pep in terms of a negative part of what he is. They're all jealous he's ours and he's pulling the pants down of stereotypical English football by winning over and over so they hang onto any loss and loose strand of negativity they can.

It's comical and flattering simultaneously.

If someone told me to name those who don't think Pep bollocksed the CL final, I'd have gotten it without reading this thread.

Which in itself is odd because this thread isn't for that.

Before the match putting up Lukaku against Stones or Laporte seemed suicidal.

It was brilliant man management, gave both Stones and Laporte a huge Luconfidence boost and will make Dias up his game even more to get back in the side.
I think the main reason is Stones & Laporte do not play touch tight which in my opinion is the type of defender Lukaku is better against - not very good when he has time to think
In a way we played a false 9 at the back against him

Jeez, I really think some on here should give their head a wobble having a go at Pep, are we really expecting the team to win every game and trophy? Under his tenure, we have broken numerous winning and scoring records, isn't it ten trophies since he started, and we are a gnats dick away from securing four EPL trophies in five seasons.

Our squad management is excellent, and that is down to him. I am just loving our style of play, and yes like many I hated our performance in the Champs final last season, but I think that was more about our teams performance on the field, rather than the team selection.

Our juggernaut just keeps rolling on, where all our major contenders have squeaky wheels. Chelsea haven't laid a glove on us, and I think Liverpool may drop more points without the diver in their team over the next few weeks. Just imagine being a supporter of the Rags?

I am realistic, and lets face it, we have won something every season apart from his first, so as a supporter who went through the dark seasons, I will always trust in Pep, and rue the day he ever decides to stand down.
